We had the most lovely afternoon visit. The flights of wine are very good value with nice pours and great service. Great atmosphere, views, and really want to thank the servers for all the great insights about the wine!

The Red Hook Winery Barrel Room tour was fun, interactive, and informative. We learned about New York’s wine regions, the winemaking process, and Red Hook Winery’s distinctive approach to winemaking. Our tour guide Emily went above to make everyone feel welcome and heard. I highly recommend the tour and the winery to anyone interested in learning more about winemaking and looking to sample some exquisite New York wine.

The Red Hook Winery was okay. Don't be fooled by some of the pictures here on Google Maps of the outdoor seating—there are only a handful of tables available outside (which are reservation only), and the view is just okay. You're not getting a sprawling view of the water and the Statue of Liberty like some of the pictures make it seem.

It was insanely crowded on a hot summer day, which made it almost impossible to get a seat anywhere, which led to a lot of people awkwardly standing around in the middle of the winery with nowhere else to stand. I'm no wine expert, but I generally enjoyed the couple of pours I had.

Went there for a date. The place is cool, rustic and charming. The views are pretty good as well. The wines we tried were just not impressive, and the food options were average. The clincher was Erin, she definitely had an attitude in the beginning but improved as we consumed more wine (I think). If they can get the wines/food right, this will be the spot to be! Willing to give them another chance.

We did the barrel tour & tasting and had the best time with our host Emily. She was so knowledgeable on all aspects of the wine making process and was just such a kind and nice staff member to have while visiting. Highly recommend for anyone planning to visit!

We visited on a Monday for my moms birthday and had a great time! We had the opportunity to sit both inside and outside, the view isn’t anything special but the water looked beautiful and there was a much needed breeze. Extensive wine menu, great snack options, dog friendly, and our waitress, Mercedes, couldn’t have been any sweeter and accommodating. We brought some games, as well as borrowed their Scrabble, and had an all around great visit.

Wine is mediocre at best and expensive. Only good thing is the outdoor seating views. Was here years ago and feel like the quality has declined. Such a disappointment and won’t be returning.

Had such high hopes for this spot, but in the end was underwhelmed.

Came on a Saturday for the tasting. Was sat fairly quickly and the glasses were waiting at the table. However, it took a significant amount of time for anyone from the wait staff to realize we hadn't been served, which was a bummer. The same thing sort of happened when we were ready to move from the white to red section, with two separate people asking us if we were ready and saying they'd come introduce us to the second half of the tasting.

The space itself is gorgeous. I will say we paid for a tasting table for extra money, but this was not super worth it. Would have easily had a better/the same tasting if we joined the communal tasting table.

We were given a bottle of water as soon as we started without glasses, which is fine- I'm happy to remind them to give some glasses. However, it was fairly difficult to get refills of this bottle of water. I wouldn't harp on this if we weren't in the midst of a heat wave and we hadn't stopped in here when it was 90 degrees.

The wine itself was good! But it took a long time to get here. The views are stellar, which is what this spot really relies on.
