We had an incredible experience at The River Cafe. Service was impeccable, the food was amazing as well as the wine list, and the view across the river to Manhattan was stunning at night!!! The location of the cafe (directly under the Brooklyn Bridge) is perfect. One may consider the evening expensive but not if you are in NYC!!! Menu changes weekly by the chef but ALL the food we found be a true culinary delight. Highly recommended for a true NYC experience.

I went to the River Cafe for my fiance's 30th birthday dinner and it was a great place to celebrate a milestone birthday like that. The waiters were attentive to our every needs, all the courses were sizable and the view of Manhattan was unbeatable. Would highly recommend this spot if you're trying to have a memorable dining experience.

This is our go to Restaurant for a celebration in the New York City area. We try to go there every time we're in town. We actually got engaged there. The view is spectacular. The food never disappoints. It is a very memorable experience all the way around from the cocktails at the bar all the way down to the chocolate Brooklyn Bridge dessert.

It's very expensive for the food it offers. I was at Rivers Cafe five years ago and I don't remember a prix fixe menu being so expensive and the food less than fantastic. The view is beautiful, the place is romantic. I think it's just a place for celebrations and maybe a one-time visit, but not a return visit. I've been to Rivers Cafe five times in the past, but this time wasn't worth it.
