I visited Kent Ale House to watch a college football game with friends last weekend and had a great time! I think we timed our visit just right, it was a beautiful November day in Brooklyn and we were able to take advantage of the outdoor seating area before it gets too cold. The staff was friendly and made sure to flip the channel for those who came in with a request for certain games. There were gluten free can options to choose from (including seltzers, and hard kombucha). We got the fries to split, which were great, and I also tried out their hot toddy which wasn't the best I've ever had but was a fun drink to enjoy on a crisp fall day. I'd recommend to anyone looking to catch a game, or enjoy drinks with friends.

Title: A Mixed Experience at Kent ale houseAs a food enthusiast, I recently had the opportunity to visit Kent ale house and wanted to share my thoughts on the overall dining experience. While the atmosphere was undeniably pleasant, boasting a beautiful outside view, the culinary offerings left me with mixed feelings.Let's start with the SPICY VEGAN NUGGETS. I was excited to try this plant-based alternative. However, I was disappointed to find that they were priced exorbitantly high for what they offered taste-wise. While they were decent, they lacked that wow factor that one would expect from a dish at that price point. I believe there is room for improvement in terms of flavor and value. On the other hand, the CAJUN SHRIMP was an absolute delight. The flavors were bold, and the shrimp was cooked to perfection. The dish was well worth the price, offering a satisfying and memorable culinary experience. The combination of spices and the freshness of the shrimp truly elevated the overall dining experience. Now, let's address the service aspect. Unfortunately, I must mention that the first and second waitresses made an excellent job at ignoring the customers. It was disheartening to feel neglected and not receive the attention one expects when dining out. While this may have been an isolated incident, it is crucial for any establishment to prioritize customer service and ensure that diners feel valued and attended to.In conclusion, my experience at Kent ale house had its ups and downs. The ambiance and outside view were truly enjoyable, providing a pleasant backdrop for the dining experience. The SPICY VEGAN NUGGETS, while overpriced, were satisfactory but not exceptional. However, the CAJUN SHRIMP stole the show with its delectable flavors and justified price point.I hope that Kent ale house takes this feedback constructively and continues to refine their offerings, particularly in terms of the vegan options and customer service. With some improvements, this establishment has the potential to become a go-to spot for a memorable dining experience.

Wings have always been good here. Vibe is great, lots of TVs, right on the water. Lack of stars has to do with the service. I'm not sure what was going on but the waitress was in another world. We tried to order the same drinks 4 times. She would come back and say "they didn't bring you the shots?" Every time.... 40+ min later and nothing. The other waiters were very apologetic but we never ended up getting the drinks and they were all on the bill lol. We had to let another waiter know and they adjusted the bill finally. But def a crappy experience in terms of service.

A good dive bar to watch sports and get drinks. They do separate bills at the bar so if you are there with a group it makes it easier. They have a large selection of beers as well.

This place is great, run don't walk. The Philly egg roll and sausage rolls were the best I've ever had, I can only imagine how their regular menu is but we had a post wedding brunch to get to. The service was great even on a busy Saturday morning. I love this place can't wait to go back and HIGHLY recommend!

This is the second time I've been here (food only), and while I'm sure there's great beer, I thought the experience left something to be desired. This time around I came with a good sized party on a loud Sunday night while they blasted the Mets game. It was very hard to hear anything. There's not a whole lot of healthy and/or vegan options on the menu so I went for the veggie burger and a salad (not beyond burger). It was pretty tasty, towering with a bunch of toppings and the thickest, densest veggie burger I've ever had that I couldn't tell you what it was made from. It felt super processed. The salad was pretty boring and I struggled to finish it. Service was okay but a little slow. With so many great places around, Kent is a bit bland for food but I understand most people are looking for their real deal--craft beer.

Great view of the city from the few available windows seats. Their Cajun Shrimp, Buffalo Chicken Mac-N-Cheese, and Sausage Roll were delish, and plenty for the two of us. But boy, did we need lots of water after our meal! Nice selection of beers, with a few Octoberfest and a Pumpkin variety being offered.

We decide to come in & have drinks since we needed to kill some time for an event , drinks had the Pumpkin ale which was great , they have a nice selection of beers. After a few beers we had the Pretzel , yumm so soft nice & hot too this thing was like crack it was delicious! It was Holiday time so the place was nicely decorated, service was good & prices were reasonable for the drinks , we had an enjoyable time.

We'd just had brunch at Kokomo nearby and wanted to find a spot to hang out and have a drink. Kent Ale House wasn't open yet, but one of the cooks saw us standing around and let us in to warm up. He even got us some coffee! He wasn't able to serve us drinks, but the bartender was coming in shortly and she hooked us up. Even though it was chilly, I ordered a Jim Beam citrus highball: Jim Beam Original White Label Whiskey, Lemon Juice & Soda Water. It was refreshing and light, which was nice. The bartender gave us some recommendations for some other spots in the area - always appreciated! We had a nice time just chatting, watching the news, and enjoying a drink at Kent Ale House. I'd definitely come back for their full English breakfast! Seems like a really fun pub atmosphere, especially when football is on.

Came to watch some football and had some drinks and an appetizer. The hostess asked us what games we would like to watch upon entry which was great. At least 4 different games going on and the Bills on the main screen and there was a TV with a soccer game on as well. The drinks were good the Buffalo cauliflower bites were good and the service was good. Nothing extraordinary but everything was done properly. I would come back here for more games
