The Starlight Tavern is a local gem. It’s the place you meet up with friends, have some cocktails and enjoy a truly delicious meal. Many restaurants and bars have come and gone over the years - but it’s the unique combination of great food, perfect pours and immaculate service that separates Starlight from the crowd.
Highly recommend and will continue to come back every time we are in the neighborhood.

If you’re looking for a venue that perfectly blends great vibes, fantastic music, and amazing food and drinks, look no further than the Starlight Tavern in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I had the pleasure of attending a Prince-themed celebration here in October with the Prince Fans of New York and NJ Facebook group, and it was truly an unforgettable experience.
The venue’s ambiance set the tone for an incredible evening. The space felt intimate yet lively, making it the perfect spot for a themed celebration. The music was on point, with an incredible playlist that kept everyone moving and singing along to Prince’s greatest hits. The energy in the room was electric—fans came dressed in their best Purple Rain-inspired attire, and the camaraderie was unmatched.
The food and drinks at the Starlight Tavern were equally impressive. The menu offered a great selection, and everything I tried was absolutely delicious. The cocktails were expertly crafted, perfectly complementing the festive mood of the evening.
What stood out most was the attention to detail in creating a welcoming and fun atmosphere. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring that everyone had a great time. From the decor to the vibe, the Starlight Tavern nailed it.
If you’re planning a celebration, looking for a spot with a great playlist, or simply want a fantastic evening out in Brooklyn, the Starlight Tavern is a must-visit. I can’t wait to return for another memorable night!

Love this place. Has an amazing vibe with the cool 70s theme. Good bartenders consistently. Food is pretty good, I’ve gotten a few items that have all satisfied. Kitchen is open late. They also have Skee Ball!
Very chill, old school bar vibes. Budweiser Clydesdale lamp and everything. Customer service is excellent, Anthony will take care of you.

I used to come on a regular basis, it was such a nice place. The person behind the bar was great and the music as well.I went back twice recently though, and the new barmaid is really blunt/aggressive, which removes the nice vibes there used to be in that place.Also, it’s a bit of shame but the music also changed - in worst as well :(
