Had the most AMAZING Poboy & conversation with the owner/cook of sweet tooth. The business has been on Garvey for 17 years and I think it’s because he stayed true to himself, pork free soulfood, chopped chicken barbecue sandwiches, Poboy and homemade iced teas and let’s not forget about the desserts which I didn’t get to get any because I’m on a sweet break but next time I pop in I’m definitely getting a sweet potato cheesecake. Now for my sandwich, I had four juicy shrimp on 1/2 and on the other two pieces of flounder garnish with a secret sauce and a slaw mix toasted to perfection. It was so delicious. Definitely popping back in to try more things on the item and if you’re like me, looking for a black owned businesses that hit the nail on the head definitely pop into sweet tooth.

We ordered the fried chicken and sweet potato pie for an event at home. The service was great. Elonzo was prompt and tried to accommodate any preferences I had.
Our guests loved the food. Glad to have this reliable catering service in our neighborhood.

One of my favorite Sunday spots and one of the best shrimp Po boys I’ve ever had! The shrimp is crispy and breaded perfectly. I’m not usually a fan of slaw, but it’s the perfect balance of tangy and sweet. You need to stop by if you’re looking for comfort food and something to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Walking by and decided to stop in. So glad I did, had the salmon sandwich, and chocolate marble cake EXCELLENT! Staff engaging and accommodating.

Ima be honest Im not a big fan of cheesecake but the way the made it im coming back, tasted SO GOOD JUST THE SWEET TREAT I NEEDED. PLUS I got a shrimp poboy, that sandwich was delicious I inhaled it. The best thing about this place was the service, they were very friendly and welcoming loved getting to talk to them and try their food. The shrimp po boy is it and the service was great. Feels like home here.
The best shrimp po boy I’ve had in New York City, hands down! Bread is buttered and toasted, and everything in between fresh. Definitely on repeat.
