Filly Luv - The Best Fried Chicken Sandwich and Boba Tea

Came here from the Bronx as I had another engagement in the area. The chicken fingers were fresh, hot, and deliciously crunchy. The truffle fries were also fresh, hot and crunch- just the way that I like them. I could have done without the melted cheese on top as it hardened pretty quickly and I wound up eating the fries without it.
There are a few areas for improvement- I got there at 3:30pm on Saturday and they were out of pickles for both fried pickles and the sandwiches. It was also uncomfortably warm- I originally planned to enjoy my meal sitting in the small dining area but decided to eat my food in my car with the AC. I’m still giving them 5 stars because I know they are a small business that is growing and you can’t and shouldn’t expect perfection. The location was clean and there is a picnic table outside to sit and eat as well. If I am in the area again, I would definitely come back to try one of the sandwiches and they will hopefully have pickles bc you can’t have a chicken sandy without pickles🙈

Great nuggets

My husband went in today and per usual I’m always going to support black businesses. He got the tenders, truffle fries, chicken sandwiches (2) and some fries with tenders mixed. My first complaint is with the fries. The oil tasted old and those big pieces of Parmesan is a bit exaggerated. The sandwich is smothered with sauce which is too much sauce. I want to try more chicken than sauce. The tenders were my favorite.

Hey this was my second time trying this wonderful establishment the first time I went it was so good chicken was tender it was crispy and not salty at all I ordered 4 plain tenders but today I’m sorry to say it was the total opposite experience the chicken was so tuff like it’s been refried and one tender it was not cooked chewy and super salty the staff was really nice I just wish the food was better today I didn’t finish the food I couldn’t but I only hope my feedback would be of some help other then that this shop is cool
