I ran into a creep on the streets so I ducked into the local neighborhood gay bar and I was met with kindness, help and an amazing martini. Adam made me feel safe and welcomed. An awesome staple of Carrol Gardens.
A subversively delightful bar. One walks in and the place is cozy with just the right touches of freshness to keep it from being a pastiche. The lighting is soft, so everyone looks beautiful, even if you had a less-than-spectacular day. There’s a lovely mural as a back to the bar instead of filmy mirrors. There’s a marvelous soundtrack of gay chestnuts playing as background music for whatever one might choose to create. The selection of craft cocktails is impressive and creative....
i performed at loafers as a dj — it’s been a great experience! the team is very friendly and the crowd is nice. i loved the interior and the atmosphere, the non-alcoholic options and mocktails are great. thank you 🌸
