I am going to miss this place.... so many family events here... It was our "go to" spot.... and the ONLY place my father would eat in his final years alive... The portions were good.. it was an old school Brooklyn restaurant and I will really miss it.

My family and I have been eating here for a very long time. The restaurant is in a great convenient location, the food is excellent, the prices are great, the staff are friendly, energetic, hardworking and consistent. Although my mom and I don't eat there anymore we just wanted to say we love you all and miss you...Shirley Zucker and family...

There is one waitress in this restaurant who is horrible. Her name is Yolanda. She takes your order, brings the food and disappears. She never follows up and takes the orders of the new people coming in. This happened several times. The other servers are good, especially Michael and the older Julio.

My family has been coming here at least for 45+ years , and it's been always great with great food and staff. Their Split pea soup with extra croutons is awesome . Also their cream of mushroom soup is great! I'm glad three star restaurant is still around in a changing neighborhood!

I love going to diners and I was pretty excited when I found out this one was close to my apartment. The hostess allowed me to pick where I wanted to sit but, apparently this place was littered with locals and the seat I chose was, unfortunately, a local's seat. The guy proceeds to sit across from me and talk nonstop by himself until I got up and left.

Great service!!! The food was hot and fresh. I really like this restaurant. A lot of menu choices. High end dishes available. Seafood available. I ordered the super cheeseburger off the brunch menu and it was a great value. The service is better than most restaurants. I felt like i was treated like royalty. Very classy place. I would give this place 100 stars.

The service itself was a bit slow. It took over 10 minutes to get a menu and after another 10 minutes, I had to flag someone down to place an order. I placed my order for scrambled eggs with fries and toast. After I got my order, no one checked in if I needed more water or anything. Halfway through eating, the guy dropped the check and walked away. I didn't even get to tell him I wanted to order some pancakes. The food itself was pretty on par with other diners but, the service well -- kinda sucks. I am starting to notice a trend with Brooklyn diners in this area.

We've been coming here for breakfast for years. It's the best! Its the same owner for years. The staff is attentive and the breakfast is always served hot. The busboy is always coming around with water, coffee & hot water. The decor is a bit dated but come for the food and service.
