I popped in here on the 22nd, last month when I was visiting. Unfortunately, the bartender was not friendly. I just wanted to try two beers to decide which one I wanted to order, but, after I tried the first one he insisted I had to order one without trying any more. He sighed and groaned, eventually letting me try it, and then after I ordered he didn't say a word just showed me the pay machine. It just felt like quite a hostile experience. If it's policy that's fine, but, just explain it nicely perhaps? Plus, this is not at all an unusual request when you are visting a brewery for the first time?
It's unfortunate because, the IPA I had was actually really good, and the outside area is very nice. Service left a bad taste.
Couldn’t recommend a better place to host a private event in Brooklyn.
The events team were great to work with and we had such a great experience working with David and Sara and the entire team.
The food options were perfect and we had the best experience for our baby shower and the entire process was seamless
We booked the Tiny Montgomery room for our baby shower and it was a great experience. They made it super easy to book and we didn’t have to worry about setting-up food etc because it was all done through them. Also they let you use your own playlist which was really fun. I thought the price was great for all the services we got (private room, personal server who was super fast, food setup and takedown). It made everything really easy and enjoyable.
Favorite brewery in NY!
Great beer, great service and overall experience.
Love the beer and the vibe! They have excellent staff. We ordered the brisket and prawns and it was so fresh and delicious!! This is also a very popular wedding venue.
This place hits on all fronts. I go every week with my friends to play games, eat, and drink.
1. Huge, lovely space - booths in the front, plenty of table and bar seating in the bar area, and expansive backyard patio with table and bench seating.
2. Fantastic selection of beer that frequently rotates.
3. Really friendly staff.
4. Easily the best smash burger in the borough.
I hosted my 30th birthday party at Threes Brewing and it was an excellent experience, from initial planning to end of the night. Dave was a great help in figuring out the logistics and making everything as clear as possible, and the venue itself was perfect for what I was looking for. We had a room off to the side with a specifically assigned server, who did a phenomenal job of making sure everyone was well-attended to (and he was also just a really nice guy). Great beers and cocktails, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxed place to throw a party.
We had an event for 41 people at Three's Brewing and they did a really good job. Their events coordinator was very responsive and patient. We had many questions and a custom menu, all of which they were able to accommodate. On the day, they had nicely printed custom menus and their team onsite was very skilled and effective. Their pricing was very fair for the value we received. Additionally, the atmosphere is generally energetic and festive which helps!
Awesome selection of beer and great staff that will guide you through their tap list if you have any questions. We slammed several Lagers (always awesome to see breweries with more than one Lager on their tap list) and would definitely be back again in the future.

We had our engagement party at Threes Brewing and it was such a great great place to do it. It was both comfortably casual and super special at once. Really great to work with the team in making some plans/preparing and really stellar on the day-of. The beer is great as always, the catering was great, the space is really nice. And very cool they have an inside option in case it rains...
We loved it, yay Threes. Highest recommend, have your party here!
The outlet situation here is abysmal
Great neighborhood place!
Great beer - no complaints from that perspective. I would have probably been able to enjoy more beers if the bartender decided to take my order when I was in front of the queue, but he decided to take 4 other people who came later on. Not sure why, hopefully not because they were all white and I'm brown? Kinda unexpected for Brooklyn! Oh and - food was cold. Great stuff, just really bad service.
EDIT - Zach got back to me and I sincerely hope this was an issue with the rush and nothing that would prevent people of color from visiting! I will be back.
I absolutely love it here. Beer is top notch, bar staff are all on point and cocktails are great. Great experience all around.
