I visited Tip Top this weekend on my mini vacay to Brooklyn NY from DC and I love this bar. The Rum Punch was 10/10. It’s not too sweet but it is delicious and strong. What I enjoyed most was the service and the people giving the service. Everyone was pleasant and welcoming even the other guest. Linda who was bartending that night was so nice. Remember when Barack Obama got elected? Before we realised he was a neoliberal drone striking shill of the establishment, we had hope. We thought the forever wars would end, beers were five dollars, and its cash only. This place takes me back to that time. My dog was young, I would walk her through tompkins without a leash. Winters were colder, snow days were called by bloomberg twice a year. What a time to be a tween. Great bar.
