Probably my favorite vegan restaurant that’s still up and running in NYC. The buffalo cauliflower sub is one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Great portion sizes for the price too, you won’t leave hungry like a lot of similar-looking spots in the city.

It sounds a little weird but I really enjoyed the pickle soup. It's more potato forward than one might think but with a strong pickle flavor

Used to be amazing and everything was crispy. These days it seems like everything, including the salad, is soggy. They need to lay off the pounds of salt and sauce! There used to even be crispy fries but that stopped. Anyway there are some days the food is decent but most days the actual ingredients in even the side dishes are overtaken by salty sauce. Just putting this review up temporarily as a customer who remembers how good it was when it opened! Bring back freshness, crispiness and don’t send out a salad that is more dressing than leaves without warning customers of this gooey concoction they are ordering instead of salad !! Thank you

Stumbled upon this place today looking for a lunch spot. So glad I stopped in. Had a delicious veggie burger made from lentils etc, house made! The lunch special is clutch. Get any burger with kettle chips and a can of spindrift seltzer. The gentleman who took my order was super nice and the food was ready in a few minutes.

I finally ate here and everything I had was soooo yummy. I had the garlic confit patty melt, Greek kale salad, sweet potatoes and pickle soup. The melt was delicious! The almond feta on the Greek salad?! So yum. And the staff is super welcoming and friendly. Don’t sleep on it.
The slabs are just the right size to dip into the Chipotle sauce.
Classic cheeseburger has a super soft bun and crisp iceberg to complement the nut mayo and burger.

If you are considering to try this spot for the first time, stop considering and GO GET IT RIGHT NOW!!! Absolutely incredible vegan food!!! Got the Crunch warp and was so surprised at how flavorful and filling it was. The chocolate chip cookie was also delicious. I also felt so light after finishing my entire meal. That is not always the case for takeout vegan food!

My experience exceeded what seemed possible. The restaurant personnel are notably pleasant. They've created a space that feels both current and comfortable. I plan to bring friends to Toad Style on my next visit. I consider this place the industry leader.

So good and they were so nice! I got a creamsicle slush and a peach burger and the peach burger was also really really yummy and i loved the pretzel bun. I came here earlier like an hour before closing, the cashier was really nice. I feel bad because I forgot to hit “tip” on the machine but they were so accommodating and the food tasted really fresh and they didn’t try to do too much with the vegan stuff as in making it into like ribs or something. will be back
