I ordered kung pao tofu for takeout and was pretty satisfied. The service was pretty normal for a Chinese restaurant and the tofu was yummy. Lots of veggies and peanuts and just very satisfying. I would prefer the tofu a bit crispier for this dish. I would like to have tried the mapo tofu as well.

This place is incredible! If you’re craving some Chinese food this is THE place. The general tso’s I had with tofu, a large portion, sauce was incredible, I also got rice and the steamed sweet buns. Totally yummy hit the craving! Highly recommend!! Updated from previous review on 2026-02-07

Amazing vegetarian spot that won’t disappoint meat eaters either - the dumplings are excellent and tofu box portions are huge.

Had the Mapo Tofu and Xian Noodles.

Mapo Tofu tasted pretty authentic and was really surprised at how good it was. 10/10

Xian Noodles was delicious as well. The noodles were a bit too long though. 10/10

The mapo tofu was good. I’ve had many versions with firmer tofu, but the tofu here is quite soft and tender.

some of the best vegetarian food anywhere. highly recommend the lion's mane mushrooms and the bbq pork. portions are large and service is quick. i've tried the whole menu and nothing misses!

Most authentic and tastiest Chinese veg food in NYC. Every bite is a flavor explosion with a substantial amount of spice. Finally, great veg Chinese food. For two voracious eaters, we ordered 4 dishes & pot of tea; came out to $75 total (not including tip) which was a steeper than we wanted. We did leave stuffed and had some leftovers, though. Everything comes in plastic containers so easy to take home but don’t expect a classic dining-in experience.

Authentic and varied options you wouldn’t see on generic menus such as different types of mushrooms, seitan, and hand-made noodles. Can actually taste the Szechuan peppercorn in the mapo tofu; this renewed my hope in mapo after having unimpressive dishes everywhere else (cough cough spicy moon).

I do takeout here 2 days a week. It's literally the best vegetarian place that I've ever been to. Actually so good. I keep getting all the lunch specials, but the soybean noodles are the best. Highly highly recommend.

Every dish is a banger, and their imitations are surprisingly similar.
