I finally made it to Tong in Bushwick and was soo impressed!!! The space is lively without being overwhelming, with neighborhood chill yet stylish vibes. The menu leans into bold, authentic Thai flavors (I couldn’t stop eating the spicy branzino sauce), and you can really taste the care in each dish. The spice is unapologetic and I mean it. Each dish felt like an adventure of flavors and textures. I especially recommend their grilled octopus - To DIIIIE FOR!!!
If you go, don’t skip the whole branzino, which is crispy on the outside, tender inside, and bright with herbs and chili. The shrimp dishes also shine, with just the right balance of heat, citrus, and char that makes them stand out from your usual Thai takeout. Pair those with a couple of small plates to start, and you’ll have a memorable evening with friends. Tong is a spot that proves Thai food can be truly comforting and cutting-edge in the same bite.

Fantastic place to have a launch, I absolutely love how aromatic the pad Thai is. Defiantly one of the best I ever had
Friendly service, spacious dining room and authentic Thai flavors (🌶️🌶️🌶️🥵) and reasonably priced for big portions that are great for sharing. Highly recommend the pork jowl, the octopus, and the drunken noodles. The medium spicy for papaya salad was too spicy for us but the flavors were full and punchy.

Tong is a Michelin Guide Thai restaurant in Bushwick. I had an amazing experience here and absolutely loved the noodle dishes. For appetizers we ordered the fried pork ribs, which were tender and packed full of flavor. We were recommended to order three entrees for a party of four and so we ended up getting the pad see ew, pad mhee ko rad, and the Thai green curry. The pad mhee ko rad was phenomenal, with the noodles having an amazing elastic texture complemented by extremely rich flavor. The pad see ew was also very enjoyable, but the pad mhee ko rad stood out a lot more to me personally. The only part of our order that we weren’t happy with was the green curry, it came out too watery and the chicken wasn’t as tender as we expected. Overall, I had a great time at Tong and I highly highly recommend trying the pad mhee ko rad.

Cozy atmosphere with delicious food. There are so many choices between appetizers and entrees. We ordered Pork Ribs, Yum Naem, and GaiTod(chicken thighs). . All were exceptional in taste and presentation. Nice soft music playing in background. Had a drink called "Walk The Line" which was so delicious. Service was excellent. Parking can be a hassle. Definitely will be coming back.
