I wanna thank the Beautiful soul that took our order today. I must say this is one of the best down to earth Food place in Brooklyn I saw an IG post about this place and I had to go check it out for myself and wow wow the wings candy the fish, the shrimp, the fries, the rice and peas the list goes on to die for literally to die for!!! Where do we begin? For starters it’s about time we start to champion phenomenal black service in the food industry. The sophisticated ambiance of the store reassures that the food will be handled with care. Before entering, I had already planned to buy quite a few orders as I do love me some good soulfood, so I had to see what the hype was about! The owner gave me 3 mini welcome plates and I must say… the food was marvelous!!! I ended up ordering about 5-6 large dinners. I even watched the owner put an elderly customer in a cab, who traveled all the way to Bedstuy and was looking for the bus home… talk about quality customer service! All in all, I’d like to thank the owner, and all the friendly staff members who helped this experience be as unforgettable as it was!!! This is a Brooklyn approved staple NY soul food spot. Welcome to the mother land! ???

We placed a $600.00 food order on February 19 2024 and paid in full on February 22nd for an event on March 2 2024. I spoke with 3 employees who confirmed a 4pm for pick up on March 2.The order was not complete until 5:39pm. We waited for over an hour and a half. The event started at 5:00. Since the order wasn’t completed in a timely fashion, an extra pan of protein was offered as service recovery which I would have to wait another 30 minutes .Due to the inconvenience, we had to order additional food from elsewhere spending additional funds since my guests had already arrived.

I seen this place on IG and decided to pay a visit and boy I swear this the best outside soulfood I tasted so far I felt my $100 was well spent ill be back to try more I hand the honey garlic wings the turkey wings fried wings the fish mac & cheese yams collard greens and they all were on point
My friend and I ordered via uber eats. Chicken macaroni and collard greens. The chicken was bomb. Fried nice and hard and seasoned well. When it came to the sides mannnn they was a 1/10. Macaroni was falling apart. Not creamy or even cheesy. Collard greens need some type of meat and vinegar. I would not bring this to thanksgiving dinner or any dinner ! Thankfully it was buy 1 get one free . I do not recommend . A bunch a grease ! This is food u eat on a drunk night.

I Highly recommend the honey garlic wings!!!. The ambience of the establishment was very pleasant, The guy(Manny) that took our order was very nice and welcoming he offered us samples after our initial order was taken to try(because it was our first time there). Which influenced us to buy more. I originally purchased the catfish, mac and cheese and their garlic mashed potatoes and after trying the honey garlic wings I had to order more!!!! 10/10.
