The cakes and bread are absolutely outstanding. The drinks are very good too. I order a matcha latte everyday. I love it when one of the workers, Minnie the one with glasses serves me my drink. Love buying from this place everyday.

⚠️‼️⚠️FRONT OF HOUSE TEAM IS NICE. BUT OTHER MEMBERS ARE ALSO RACIST AND DISCRIMINATORY! ⚠️‼️
writing this to provide a fair warning to people who are considering stopping by here !!
I am writing on behalf of the Chinese-American community. I had entered looking for cakes to purchase for my grandma because it was her birthday the following week.
Upon purchasing two of the amazing cloud cakes (my family’s favorite) a member from the back of house team came out and began speaking about me and Cantonese. At first I was unsure who or what she was talking about, but after a minute, it became very clear that she was talking about me. The things she said were very rude, crass, and the way they flowed out of her being made me uncomfortable because she clearly knew what she was saying; and was confident that I would not understand her.
I don’t believe that she knew that Cantonese is my native language… and that I understood her every word very very well.
I understand that perhaps I was wearing a mask, and had my face covered, so they assumed I would not understand… but discussing your own customers IN FRONT OF THEIR FACE is unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful, no matter what language and cultural setting you are in.
The service members were kind and helpful, and I truly appreciate all the help they provided. But if you are going to come out from your workspace to 1) look at your client and make assumptions 2)begin vocalizing such assumptions and using disrespectful language, and 3) begin branding the client as “the kind of person who’s got money” … I was so disappointed in the company that very day.
I would like to take this moment to bring this to YOU THE PUBLIC’s attention. I was so hurt by people in my own community, in the neighborhood that I’ve lived in all my life.
I will not be returning to the Tous Les Jours at 2017 86th St, Brooklyn, NY 11214. They hurt me really bad… and I wonder if anyone else has had this same experience.
I went to pick up the cakes today July 5, 2025. I spoke to the manager Cai, who apologized for the interaction. But he and the rest of the team weren’t the ones who committed the offense. I am angry that they need to apologize for someone else’s behavior. The team was so kind, and I want to make clear that the only thing they did wrong was to let this member of the team continue speaking about me… in front of me… while I am paying for my products.
I truly hope that my message underlines how hurtful this interaction was. I hope that if you are similar to me, I am giving you a fair warning of what you may expect.
💙Paris baguette is also across the street. That’s where I purchased the bday candles and they were 💯
I always come here for the bread, drinks and cakes. Mily makes delicious drinks 👍🏼. Atmosphere relaxing and clean. Would recommend coming.
Over priced dessert
The bread I bought today turned out to be leftovers from yesterday. The texture tastes not good. I tried to heat the bread but there was jam in it, so I had to throw away the whole thing.

That was a terrible experience. Definitely bad.
First, the cashier didn’t ask what kind of milk I wanted in my coffee, and since I was half-asleep, I forgot to make sure it was lactose-free. By the time I realized, the coffee was already made, so I asked what kind of milk was inside. Usually, if a customer doesn’t specify, they go with lactose-free to avoid any issues—but they used regular milk. I told them I have an allergy, but they literally did nothing. They just shrugged. They didn’t remake the coffee, so I ended up with nothing.
Second, the employees handling deliveries are careless. One of them was pushing a massive stack of boxes, didn’t bother checking if anyone was in the way, and ran over my foot while I was standing near a display. I couldn’t walk properly for the rest of the day because of the pain. This kind of incident should be documented and compensated by the establishment. Or should I sue?

Got the mango cake today and the mango wasn’t ripe AT ALL. Cake itself was alright but you couldn’t even bite into the mango. Shouldn’t be serving them if it’s not ripe enough.
Bought the mango cake. Mango was not ripe and hard as apple.

Pastries are yummy as always. Coffee is unpalatable. The workers would clearly rather be anywhere else.

Every year, i always struggle to find a nice cake for my birthday but ever since i found Tous les Jours, its been a breeze! Ive never quit enjoyed getting cakes that arent ice cream cakes but ive been getting the mango cloud cake and everyone loves it! From birthday cakes to mini cakes you can split with your friends, the price is very manageable to the quality never drops. I definitely recommend coming in the early morning to get a nice spot to enjoy your cake or pastry and do some work as well.

This is my so far favorite bakery. I always get my morning coffee and pastries here and crossiants still remain my all time favorite. They're decent and alright pricewise. The staffs were nice too.

I have been going there for years; pre and post Covid. Their pastries get smaller smaller each time. And the price increased. Now I’m paying more for way less food. There is no quality control. Meanwhile Paris Baguette across the street offers gigantic pastries for the same price.

They shrinked the sizes of almost all the items. Questionable business ethic.
