First of all …. The food seems to be sitting all day… I went in for there special which is FISH …. It’s evening hours when people are coming home and will grab a plate of food so I went in for the fish. The first thing I asked do you fry fish to order the lady says oh we don’t have any more fish how when that’s your staple dish that you sell strike number one strike number two was you didn’t have the proper for your meals you have small, medium and large I asked for a medium oxtail $20 is not much of a difference from the large Which is $25 opted to buy the $25. You didn’t have anything else to accommodate my plate other than just the oxtails and the rice and peas and then I had to ask you to put gravy on it. You wanted to give me old cabbage. You didn’t have any fresh salad nor did you have a plantain to offer to make the plate complete for $25 You are not me in the sense of the neighborhood and you’re not accommodating according to your price range and for the food that you’re offering, and then on top of that your Ryce was scorched will not be returning and will report you to the Better Business Bureau….. A very upset customer who’s lived in the neighborhood trying to support Black own business and I lived in the neighborhood for over 35 years so this is a disappointment. I will not be patronizing again.!!!!!!

I went here yesterday to get a lunch special. I got white rice, curry chicken, and cabbage. It was okay. I give the rice a 9/10. It wasn’t too mushy and wasn’t too hard either. It was as fluffy as I like it. The curry chicken, I give it a 7.5/10. It could’ve been better. I just needed more curry flavor😔. The chicken tasted sweet or something. Maybe they cooked it in browned sugar. Idk but it definitely tasted sweet. The cabbage was just that…cabbage. I paid $6 and it was definitely worth the $6. If I paid extra to this…it would’ve been so disappointed. I came here when they first opened but unfortunately they didn’t take Apple Pay. Now they do and I’m glad. Would I recommend? Yes, but to your own risk🧏🏽♀️

Delicious food. Today was my first time ordering from them. I had the salmon that had pineapples with it and it was 10 out of 10. My daughter had the stew fish and she liked it alot. P.s. I appreciated the nice size plates. Lol
