Love this food, the design, vibe and service. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. Recommend the tahini Cesar, spicy tuna rolls, cold ramen, Northwest oysters and the soft shell crab Bao! Can’t wait to return!

Oh my god! We had a great dinner at this place. The food was amazing, service was great and the place looks cool. It was our first time trying this place but we'll definitely go back. It will be in our favorite restaurant list for sure. I'm so happy to have this place in our neighborhood. it's just 20 min walk. Awesome!! We'll be a regular!

One of the best restaurant experiences of my life. Born and raised in NYC, worked in the industry for almost 20 years and this place is phenomenal. Prawns were cooked perfectly and had immaculate sauce. Soft shell crabs are another hit. Spicy tuna is perfect. And the wagyu was tender and juicy, absolutely superb, more than enough for two. The host was very accommodating for a last minute table. My server was Alexandra, a master of her vocation.

They recently got a new manager and made changes. They took all the good items off the happy hour menu, they changed their hours as well. food is still good but menu has changed so much it's not worth it.

Best ramen I’ve ever had in my life! My cousin tried the salmon dragon roll and he is still talking about it. If you like Japanese food and you are in Brooklyn, this restaurant is a MUST.

I went for lunch and got a poke bowl that was reasonably priced considering a lot of the surrounding options. It wasn’t busy and I got excellent service from the waiter, who was attentive but not overbearing. The vibe inside was great too, laid back but refined. Good music also.

Great spot! Checked it out with my friend yesterday and we both loved it! Cocktails were on point - interesting, well balanced, and of course, tasty! We sat at the bar and the bartenders were great. They have a cool looking enclosed outdoor space also. We did try some appetizers and we loved the crispy tuna but the other 2 we tried were just ok. We're definitely coming back to try more! A new fave!

I used to love this place !!!! I live two blocks away. it’s such a shame. I used to always get this server who was super accommodating he maybe had had pink or red hair and kinda scruffy. I have a 2 year old and he was just the friendliest. The quality and service def has gone down although this time we got a server named Cypria?? I couldn’t hear them mmmmm- They were really cool. The bartender emon made great drinks and super handsome with very super polite skills. The noodle dish was underwhelming I think the only thing I liked was the crispy salmon and kaarage but if it’s fried it’s going to be good. I couldn’t believe their burgers are basically at a 30$ burger like if you want fries. Like is that the new norm ???

Favorite Japanese food restaurant in Bed Stuy

This is the only spot to get sushi in all of east Bed Stuy and it shows.
To be fair, the food here is good. Great even. But if you come expecting “sushi restaurant”, you’ll be left wanting.
Luckily the other Japanese-styled dishes: tataki, kaarage, ramen - are all well worth eating - and coming back for. I will gripe that the portion sizes seem to have shrunk more and more over the years.
It gets busy as heck at peak dinner times, but they have a great happy hour if you can make it in earlier.

Loved loved loved this place! Never thought a drink with egg and cream cheese would be so good! And I finally had brussel sprouts I really liked. Will visit every time I'm in NY.
