I have so much to say about this place I will try to keep it quick and concise. Trastevere hits all the marks- The food is delectable- I especially recommend the beef carpaccio and the Stracotto and they have an extensive wine/spirits collection. It has gorgeous layout, lovely color scheme lots of seating options including private booths. This place has true style and elegance. The wait staff are incredibly polite and swift in delivering the food. I would suggest this place to anyone looking for a relaxing luxurious experience that won’t break the bank. I have been to places twice the price that don’t pale in comparison to the experience I had here.

I was excited to try this restaurant since I don't get out to Brooklyn often. The parking is atrocious. There's nowhere to park. The restaurant itself is very rustic but in need of a makeover. The food was ok but nothing special and ver overpriced. There are better restaurants in Cedarhurst. I will not be going back to this restaurant.

We held a birthday celebration dinner at Travere for 9 people...it was a blast! The food was outstanding, very high quality, and the service and ambience were great.

We went there to have the signature veal Trastevere........ it was substituted with scalopini, without prior notice........ the cost was prohibitive considering we were scammed. We would have ordered something else had we been told. The best thing was the fact that Mordy Herzog was there and sent us a bottle of wine( not on menu)
