The food is not very good. My friends and I are visiting NYC from Jamaica & Trinidad, and we were severely disappointed by the doubles. It’s a shame too because we want to support our people.

The lady working there at the time was an older trini woman and she did very friendly; she assured we’d like it. We did just have to laugh when we finally get we order. The doubles were so flavorless that I coulda cry, and that’s really no exaggeration. They were also cold…

We asked for them to be spicy and to be honest with you, the spice was more an idea / concept than something that actually describes our order. Hate to have to give them such a low score but it is what it is.

Over 9 days in Manhattan, New Jersey and Brooklyn this was some of the best food we had - hands down! We had chicken roti and it was everything you want it to be. Chicken falling off the bone, deep rich curry flavour and flaky roti to mop up the chicken curry. So so good. And reasonably priced. 10/10

I love to support my Caribbean restaurant , but now you are paying much more , for less, no customer services, only attitudes , and the lady who serving food from Barbados, need to check her self, she's using the same gloves to touch everything and the food, Mr Charles check on your staff...

It's a shame when you constantly go out of your way to support small businesses and restaurants in effort to keep the Caribbean community you love so much alive, as it's already becoming gentrified before our eyes to only be treated like you're a bother lol. Like some have stated, the people in there acting like they're doing you a favor, very miserable and ungrateful. I nicely asked what are the prices for the drinks since I did not see any prices listed anywhere and you woulda thought I asked someone for their kidney lol. I was stared at for 30 seconds, finally rudely given an answer, I felt like I was in the twilight zone the way the whole room changed when I fixed my lips to ask a simple question lol. Even the woman next to me said something bc she was thrown off by their response. I would understand some attitude maybe if the place was packed and under a lot of pressure but it wasn't and usually never is. Like I said, I'm Caribbean, I love my Caribbean food and community but there's so many other places with better food and customer service. Also, this place almost never got doubles available, bake is decent, but definitely not worth the attitude. If you do end up going I warn you to not ask the prices for anything or they'll become very offended for some reason lol.

The callaloo is water down. The macaroni pie is tasteless and small. I tasted only butter no cheese. They give very small portions!!! Tasted gross

Small portions, I know things are expensive, but since you increased the prices; you are also giving smaller portions. Not fair to your customers. The prices also varies by who is cashing, I buy the same things religiously and I pay different prices at times. This is madness. Also, if you want a substitute, they charge. I’m done, no more!
