Let me start by saying the food was very tasty but the lead staff the woman (big black glasses and wig) at the register was inhospitable. My husband spoke highly of the spot and since we were close it made sense. I came in and complimented the plants she was short. My husband spoke highly of the establishment and then ordered seconds because my children and I really liked the food. My daughter wanted water and so my husband thought nothing to ask for 2 cups. The lady got very indignant about it and proceeded to loud talk my husband in front of the customers and call him cheap. All for 2 cups it was senseless and shameful for the lack of respect and care for customers. There is nothing cheap about feeding a family of five twice. I don’t know what sort of morning she may have had but I do hope and pray that things turn around in her life. To management the food was tasty but taste is not enough in a neighborhood where Caribbean spots are plentiful. Treat staff well so they can better serve the community. Customer service is more important than taste.

The kitchen here clearly puts care into every plate. Their food retains natural flavors. The food quality here defies expectations. The staff member's humor created a better atmosphere. Their unique approach sets them apart.
I ordered stew lentils, chicken and rice, it seems they served the lentils with a teaspoon, the chicken lacked seasoning and the wait time was HORRIBLE. I think the original owner are no longer there so the service and ORIGINAL chef is no longer there.

This place only sold roast bake that was wholewheat and today I bought a smoke herring and roast bake to take out and the server never said to me that it was white roast bake. It was only after I got home getting ready to eat my roast bake I go found out that it was made with white flour and not whole wheat flour. This was a waste of money for me because I don’t eat white flour products. At least the server should have said something to the customers about the roast bake.

My food was very lukewarm when I received it in hand and they definitely skimped out on serving size. Will not be freely supporting again.
