Tripoli Restaurant Reviews
A disgusting culinary experience🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
I’ve been going to the Tripoli since I was a child (1975, so I was 2 years old). At first, the draw was their authentic pastries (their Birds Nests are TOP NOTCH!!!). To this day, I love their traditional Lebanese cuisine (their humus, babaghanouj and tabouli are AMAZING as is their shish-kabob and chicken shishtaouk). If ever you find yourself on the border between Brooklyn Heights and Cobble Hill Brooklyn (NYC), I can’t recommend them enough!!!

Tripoli Restaurant, a hidden gem known for amazing Middle Eastern food in a basement setting. The sheesh barak, steamy hot dumplings filled with lamb in yogurt sauce, is a must-try. The place offers fresh and delicious dishes like spinach pies, hummus, and mjudra, as well as the Minazli, a flavorful tomato stew with ground lamb and rice. The family-run restaurant provides great service, with friendly and lovely staff making you feel at home. They even have their own imported olive oil brand, Ancient Tree, adding to the authentic flavors of Tripoli or Beirut. A unique spot on Atlantic Ave that offers nourishing meals in a cozy atmosphere, perfect for those looking for a taste of homemade delicacies. The food is fresh, the flavors are on point, and the hospitality is top notch. Though the location is spacious but below ground, it remains a true hidden gem with exotic sounds and a welcoming vibe. Customers leave not just satisfied but often with a bottle of olive oil, eager to return for more.
