It’s not safe! Bartenders have a nasty attitude, the security guards are rude, and almost everyone who comes here are aggressive, rude , violent. This bar has changed

DO NOT GO HERE!! apparently the bouncers are allowed to kick out two women for kissing?? this place is homophobic as hell.
They kicked me out without saying why.

I kind of hate to not be able to leave five stars because I really loved almost everything about this place. Great vibes, fishtank(!), turtles(!), amazing music.
But, to walk into a dive bar and get a really intense bag check and then get a full TSA patdown is extremely jarring and very nearly had me ready to turn back around. I'm sorry if maybe something bad happened here that made this feel necessary, but again, to unexpectedly get a full patdown is a real vibe killer and also really questionable in general? I really dont need a cool nice dive bar to normalize the surveillance state we've got going on outside or to act like our neighborhoods are war zones.
Always a good time! Great service, nostalgia everywhere, good crowds, and good music selections 💯💯💯💯💯

All the good reviews here are from YEARS ago. This bar is disrespectful not only to the people who goes there, but the neighbors who live in the area. The security is overreaching their power and act like they’re working for TSA. They love to harass people coming in but refuse to address the endless motorcycle engine that’s in front of the bar (which you can hear from 3-4 blocks away!!)
