Simply the best!
My absolute favorite spot in the neighborhood. Delicious sandwiches and great coffee. Go early and get the sfogliatelle while it’s still warm — molto, molto delicioza.

A really charming Italian cafe with a garden, delicious coffee, light cocktails and yummy simple food. The atmosphere is light filled and relaxed, and the staff are friendly. A great pit stop on a hot afternoon!

I had just come back from a solo Italy trip and was looking for genuine Italian coffee shops like the ones found there.
This comes pretty close I'd say. However it doesn't seem to replicate the culture of drinking while standing at the bar like in Italy. They have plenty of seating.
Friendly staff and atmosphere.

Un Posto Italiano transports you to Italy, right in the heart of Park Slope! The business offers delicious and quality imported Italian goods to shop, as well as a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere for eating, drinking and relaxing. We hosted the reception for my daughter's baptism here, and Mariuccia and her team were so kind, accommodating and attentive in the planning and execution process for our event. I highly recommend booking your special event at Posto, or even stopping in for a glass of wine. I plan to be back to visit many times!
Nice authentic Italian cafe
Been coming here for coffee most weekends for the past 4-5 years. Great coffee and other Italian goodies.
Quality is top notch.
However, they're trying to push their lunch offerings (sandwiches) so they now require that you purchase food if you want to sit at their tables after noon... and they removed a bunch of their tables recently.
So, as someone who only goes there for coffee, it's kind of a bummer since there are fewer places to sit and they're wanting you to leave before noon. I was even told today (at 11:30am) that the outside backyard seating was only open to lunch or aperitivos.
I find myself coming here less frequently since they've made these changes, tbh. I also sympathize since I know how hard it is to run a small business so I imagine they're trying to strike that balance.

Wonderful staff, great coffee and pastries. I splurge in the grocery section from time to time also.
One of my favorite places in the neighborhood, run by lovely people. The hand-cut fresh pasta is to die for
One of the best places to eat anything or buy anything or drink anything in NYC - speaking as someone who has been here 35 years.

Excellent espresso, good pastries
Lovely place with lovely food.
We got a honey cornetto, Prosciutto and cheese on focaccia sandwich, what I believe is a hazelnut bombolone (donut), and two lattes. The pastries and sandwiches are fresh and delicious. The lattes were decent.
There is a cute little enclosed patio on the back along with indoor seating.
The workers were friendly.
I would say that this is a place you come for food and ambiance, not necessarily for just a latte.
