What can I say, Uncle Louie G is the best brand icee in Brooklyn and probably the only brand to compete against Ralph's (shout out to Staten Island/Shaolin). While they have multiple locations I frequent the one in Mill Basin. The couple that runs this particular store front is very nice and always gets you what you want quickly and efficiently. I like the majority of their flavors especially the ones they put whole pieces of fruit inside (e.g. FDNY Cherry has pieces of cherry in it.) Get it while it's still hot outside they close up shop by the 1st or 2nd week of November and come with Cash because they don't accept card.

Customer service was terribly rude for no reason, especially the old balding guy. Ruined the whole experience. Walked away without buying anything. Been coming here for years and thanks to this guy I'm never coming back. Sucks.

Customer service sucks. We went there today we ordered 4 cones and and icy. I had to ask were these kid scoops because they were ridiculously small. She said no. At $4.50 this is highway robbery. One kid got icy and did not like the taste. Blue raspberry. It did not taste good. So I asked if we xan change it because she didn't like it. We were told no. We had to pay 4.50 .. this is insane. We did pay again but would not return.
I've been buying their ice cream since 2005. This used to be an after-school spot for a treat, and today (20yrs later) I make it a point to grab my all time favorite strawberry cheesecake cone whenever I'm in the area. I haven't tried their ices, but ice creams are all great. Cappuccino chunk is another favorite! This is a Brooklyn staple - highly recommend. Cash only.

Was in the mood for something cold and refreshing. Decided to try the Italian ices here and it hit the spot. I got the Tropical Rainbow (mixture of passionfruit, mango and cherry flavors) and it was so satisfying, sweet without being too artificial tasting. Husband enjoyed the Pina Colada flavor, which came packing with a ton of coconut flavor complete with coconut flakes. Great spot to visit when coming here to Marine Park for a stroll. Looking forward to returning here to try more flavors!
