I had the pesto pizza. I thought it said something about roasted tomatoes in the description. There was tomatoes on the pizza but I don’t think they were roasted before they were put on the pizza. I would have just called that tomatoes. Anyway tomato or tomato. The pizza was good and the space was really nice. I kinda wished it was a bit busier.
Probably the most reliable place for Italian food in the north brooklyn area - I’ve been coming since circa 2016. Always exceptional pasta, pizza, apps, and desserts. I would bring my friends, even the ones from Italy, and they could eat it happily. For years and years! Mirco & Riccardo held down the operations and the menus and the standard was always beyond belief.
Past couple of times, it has not been quite as good. Riccardo just left; Mirco is about to leave...
