Myself and all my friends used to come here on a regular basis. However, the cashier spilled the tip jar and change/ dollar bills fell all over our pizza. We politely asked for new slices and the cashier flipped out on us and started slamming things around. He was very upset that we didn’t want to eat the dirty slices. Safe to say we’ll never go back. They do not take sanitation seriously.

I live across the street from this place. I’ve been here probably 10 times. Continue to try and give them a chance. Occasionally it’s edible. But sometimes it’s just gross. Right now it’s 7:30pm, and all the pizza they had there was old and dried out. I paid almost 10 bucks for two slices and I’m just sad. I don’t know how this place is always busy when they keep making bad food. I don’t get the hype. This cheese is old and grey. I nearly brought the pizza back for a refund after this single bite but I’m too sad to get up now.

Stay far far away
had some of the best pizza here! I got the sausage and pickled pepper and the mushroom slice. It was so good I went almost a week ago and can’t stop thinking about it. I also tried the corn slice because the workers were so nice and I will definitely be coming back!!!

Stopped by on a whim. Had a mushroom slice. Very, very good - probably one of the best mushroom slices I have had. Place was clean and quiet, with seating area outside.

I like this place, especially Softside, but PLEASE for the love of all that is good in this world keep Softside at the Greenpoint location open YEAR ROUND! It is such a waste of great ice cream, no one from Brooklyn should lose out on it or have to go to Manhattan for it. It really is top-notch as far as Brooklyn soft-serve ice cream goes.

I ate pizza there tonight. The pizza was reasonable... very expensive. Not worth such an expensive price. Plus, the sauces that other pizzerias give you for free cost money in this place. The toilets there are filthy. Very very stinky. The staff is very unfriendly. The air conditioners drip on the tables. And when I wanted to put some Parmesan cheese on my pizza the container was empty. I wouldn't recommend this place. I won't go back there. The only reason I was there, despite everything, is because they were open until late at night and everything else was closed.I'm attaching a video I took of the air conditioner dripping onto my table and onto me.
The music there really high volume. So if you also want to sit and talk to each other, I think it won't be a good fit for you. The person can barely hear what I want to order because the music is so loud.
NOT RECOMMENDED

Maybe pizza shouldn’t be sourdough
I know Portnoy’s scale well. If he comes here, he’s gonna give you a 7.9.
He will tell you it’s a little greasy, and to cook it a little longer. Good crisp, but just a slight flop. The flavor is amazing, but can get to high 8’s with slight improvements
Fun, cute pizza shop. I got the sausage and peppers slice, and all the flavors came through: meaty sausage, fruity peppers, and the wheat of the crust. The crust was a little on the tougher side, but I liked the deep baked flavor; it reminded me almost of a pretzel.
My friend and I got terrible food poisoning from Upside. I had a slice of the white brocolli pizza late Sat night. We hung out until around 2am, enjoying the atmosphere and the pizza — frankly, it was very tasty. Unfortunately this single slice destroyed me. At 6am I woke up throwing up. I had body aches, fever and chills for the rest of the day. My friend had a similar experience. He had two slices from a different pizza.
I'm sad to say I'll no longer be a customer here even though it's a neighbourhood favourite.
