Coffee is ok. Definitely don’t feel it’s anything special; another hipster coffee shops. The service is also just ok. Staff mostly talking amongst themselves and seem to be less focused on the artistry.
The paper cups look nice and it’s usually clean inside. Afternoons are better than mornings because it’s less congested.

Variety Coffee on Graham Ave is hands-down my favorite spot in Williamsburg. The baristas are genuinely some of the kindest, most welcoming people—you walk in and they remember your usual, always with a smile and zero attitude. The coffee is consistently outstanding: their Lucky Shot espresso pulls are rich and fruity, the iced oat milk lattes are creamy perfection, and the seasonal pour-overs never miss.
Love that it feels like a real neighborhood cafe—great playlist, plenty of seats, natural light, and that classic Brooklyn vibe without trying too hard. Pastries (especially the vegan blueberry muffin) are always fresh, and the prices are totally fair for the quality.
Whether I’m grabbing a quick cold brew on my way to the L train or camping out with my laptop for a couple hours, it’s always a good experience. Huge thanks to the whole crew for making mornings better. Williamsburg is lucky to have you! ☕❤️

Best in the neighborhood!
Either their coffee beans are way too sour, or they simply don’t clean their espresso machines often enough. Terrible experience. My coffee ended up in the trash. On top of that, the woman who served me was incredibly unfriendly. And judging by other reviews, it’s not just me who feels that way.
I honestly don’t understand why there are such long lines at this place. Definitely not a spot I’d recommend - there are plenty of much better coffee shops in the area.

Horrible service, They yell at their clients
Antisemitism, they hate Jews,
Walked in to a relatively empty store at 730 pm to buy a seltzer with my kid who had an ice cream cone (with a cup). Before I even got to the counter with my seltzer, we were confronted by the barista who immediately asked that I “make sure my kids ice cream cone didn’t drip all over the floor.” (Cone was not dripping at all and was contained by a cup). Feeling rather unwelcomed by this, I told him we would sit outside (it had just recently rained too heh). Pretty awkward.
