Just stopped by for a quick cup of coffee and was so pleasantly surprised by this place! The service was friendly, courteous and outstanding. The prices were very fare. Warm atmosphere, big variety of unusual and delicious deserts. My latte and my husband's flat white were spot on! We most definitely coming back. Highly recommend!!!

A gem among the sea of goofy overpriced millennial minimalist core coffee shops in the neighborhood. Coffee is good and not re-examine your economic solvency expensive, but still Park Slope prices obviously. It’s laptop friendly and there’s plenty of seating but also a nice place to meet friends (you won’t feel like you’re breaking the silence by speaking, the way you do in some cafes). Nice place. Nice nice place.

This morning I paid the same price as always for a small black coffee at Velvette, but it was served in a significantly smaller to-go cup. “They’re new,” I was told. The cup was doubled up, because the sleeves were too big for the new cups, which made the cap loose, and coffee dripped repeatedly on my shirt while I walked to work. I threw my punch card in the garbage when I got to my office.

Honestly, I don't know how many stars to put. The interior is clean and beautiful. The experience with the barista was great and their signature coffee (the velvette) is delicious! But when I got home, I found mold in the pistachio cake
