Great cucumber jalapeño margarita - made fresh and had a tinge of spice as it should! Music was a vibe but I could still hear myself think. Seemed like lots of regulars were coming in that knew the staff. They don't do food anymore but you can bring your own.

No food and there was a worker with head phones on his head who was rude to us !!! He told us we need to find a different place to stand but there was no other place to stand Othman where we were which was near the bar where they have to walk in and out from, we ended up getting one round of shots and leaving. If there’s no place to sit it’s not worth coming here.

I have been to vera cruz many times. They always have friendly people, the bartenders allow customers to pick songs, and the alcohol/prices are reasonable. I have never ordered food here. Coming from the bronx, I prefer coming here than staying in a bar that's in my borough
