I visited based on an Instagram post. I had honey wings, mac and cheese, and collard greens. The food did not disappoint and my daughter took one bite and finished my plate. The portion size was good and everything tasty and delicious. My only complaint is when I drive by each night after work, there is ALWAYS a line of people waiting to get this delicious food. But I will definitely be back.

I was supposed to do do this weeks ago but ill be going back today so figured I'd do my review now, from the food to the customer service to the urgency everything was great in my eyes the owner was very attentive as well as the food servers. The only reason why I rated 4 stars instead of five is because the card machine was down and the ATM was as well which was a bit of an inconvenience over all like I said ill be back

I enjoy some things from Vera's , I haven't tried everything. I like their honey chicken, cabbage and candy yams. That cornbread is delicious ..The staff is very patient and friendly . I gave 2 stars for atmosphere only because it's not a sit down restaurant, it's take out

This is one serious gem of a place, they literally cook and provide real proper nutritional food with decent prices, this isn’t one of those chain restaurants that chase profit share margins instead of healthy food, the lady who took my order was super sweet helpful and wholesome as well. Food tastes fresh and delicious, i am not sure how they are not more busy.
Get in there people we wont have great food like this if we don’t protect and support!
I stood in line and waited patiently. Just for the gentleman who was at the register to walk away as if I wasn’t standing there waiting to order. There were two young ladies making the plates who saw me as well. No one assisted. Customer service was horrible
