Great food and staff. Damien was a pleasure to talk to. Great addition to the team. Best of luck to everyone
food and vibes were great; but the host really needs to work on her attitude (blemish on an otherwise great brunch experience)

Went for dinner. Space was cozy or cramped depending on your mood (started off cozy then it got cramped once we started eating with both hands). Good wine selection. Food was well executed, but even in nyc one would expect more oomph than what was delivered at $40 for chicken and $24 for a plate of 2-3 beets.

Good breakfast. Excellent service, the food for my taste could have more flavor but had a great time visiting this cozy place.

Have been a few times. Food is fairly underwhelming. My Egg & Tomato dish said it came with a “parsley salad” — which consisted of one sprig of parsley. Why even mention it?
Waiters are understaffed and/or slow.
I keep going back, because the environment is cool - but always uninteresting food & mediocre service.

Came here for my wife’s birthday after hearing good things - unfortunately left quite disappointed. The food is good. That said, nothing was extraordinary to warrant the price point. Separate shoutout to chicken liver mousse, truly yummy and the only elevated aspect of the menu.
The service is terrible. Three things: 1) no one came to check if we wanted additional drinks after the food started coming out, or to ask how the food was. Like total neglect after our initial order; 2) when it came to dessert, our server just walked by and tossed the dessert menu on the table next to an empty wine glass without saying anything; 3) no candle in the dessert as was requested (we saw another table get a candle, not sure what happened there). The panna cotta was kinda gross too.
At the end of it all, server says “panna cotta’s on us happy birthday” and walked away. Shame on us for expecting better. Personally, won’t be back - BUT I could see this place being decent for bevs and chicken liver at the bar as like a snack thing. Hope they can get it together because it is a cute space. Good luck VHH.

Had an amazing evening here. We loved their cozy and historic dinning room. Would highly recommend if you are looking for great cocktails, a beautifully curated wine list, and exceptional food. Our server Beck was warm and very informative. Thank you again Vinegar Hill House team!

Quite possibly the most darling restaurant in Brooklyn. The French omelette is simple and delicate. Their pancakes are my favorite in the city. The staff are kind. You can’t go wrong having brunch or dinner in this remarkably lovely restaurant.

Phenomenal food with amazing staff in a beautiful setting... whether you're in the restaurant, on the delightful stone middleyard/patio, or celebrating in their back event space.
Amazing, really spectacular food. But appetizers took 30 minutes and, once those plates were cleared, it was another 45 minutes until main courses arrived. It was almost impossible to get water refilled, since there were no servers in sight for most of the evening. UNTIL we were swarmed by restaurant employees when they asked us to vacate the table, as if we'd overstayed when we waited for them to serve our food.

Food was really good, cozy candlelit atmosphere. Server did not extend the cozy vibes as she was very unfriendly.

Cute rustic spot in Vinegar Hill / by Dumbo. Came here for dinner but I heard those sourdough pancakes are to die for. Wanna come to brunch sometime soon!

Unbelievable quiche! Pancake was way too sweet for me but it’s great if you enjoy that kind of thing, the texture is nice.

Great food place with a hidden gem of a garden tucked in the back. Ideal spot for summer brunch or dinner. Food was good but quantity is not huge so make sure you order enough. Friendly service and fresh produce. Would recommend

Be aware that the restaurant cancels outdoor seating at the slightest threat of rain. There is no attempt to contact patrons ahead of time. A basement table is a far cry from the outdoor table we were expecting. (PS. It never rained). That said, food was good. Service was ok, dinner was rushed.
