Ive lived in the neighborhood for 64 years asked for veal marsala I was served chicken cutlets. I informed the waitress this and she denied it was chicken. She brought out a tray of cutlets that contained both in the same tray together and tell me mine were veal but they were too thick and white to b veal it was obvious they were not veal . I know chicken when I taste it everyone at my table agreed it was definitely chicken. The waitress was not polite and charged me for veal cutlets not as good as it was to many good restaurants in the neighborhood to enjoy. they lost a good customer today. The way I was treated and disrespected there I will never go back and the waitress on Sunday march 9th at 2pm need to learn how to treat costomers.

Waitress was extremely rude. Once we entered. She looked at us up and down. We had a stroller they didn’t even greet us and said I don’t have a highchair had an attitude. She say us in the corner left to the other table with her white guest and started talking to them pleasantly ignoring us like we did not exist

Portion sizes were large (enough to split or take for leftovers); however, food quality made you eat less. Was disappointed to hear mexican music playing in an "authentic" Italian restaurant. Service was so slow we almost contemplated going to another restaurant. Food pricing was more aligned with NYC tourist areas.
At the end of the day I wouldn't recommend this to restaurant to anyone traveling as the food taste alone wasn't worth our time.

Amazing ambiance and food, really nice staff. This place made me love Carroll Gardens. The spaghetti was really good, one of the best I had outside of Italy. Would go back if I ever end up in Brooklyn again. I could even take the subway all the way from Manhattan only to eat here. Portions are also generous, my mom brought her salmon back home and it lasted 2 more meals. The cute, and warm christmas atmosphere of the restaurant made it one of my best memories from New York.

Use to be excellent. Now its just living on the name, Food Is almost not even edible, no taste, its microwaved garbage.
