Oh my gosh! What would I do without them? I think they are one of the few locations that carries a full food menu. They are my go to when I want comfort Taiwanese fare. The teas, the braised pork rice, takoyaki, popcorn chicken is undoubtedly Taiwanese. Always so good and consistent.

A month ago, I was working in Greenpoint and during my break, my colleague asked me to bring her to bubble Tea place, so ViVi Bubble Tea was in my radar. She got green tea with bubble, and she loved it! I was glad I brought her to the right place.

She speaks angrily in her language and shows a negative attitude instead of accepting she made a mistake. That’s the treatment I received from one of the staff today whilst being totally calm and respectful!I have been a loyal customer of Vivis for years now. I go causally to get my drinks, staff are good generally. Until today, this one staff member decided to be defensive instead of accepting she’s wrong. I gave her the card fully stamped to receive my award, the free drink. We all know that if we want a large we add one dollar. Okay so and the toppings are free until she wanted to make it otherwise today because simply she couldn’t calculate for a sec. I ordered my free drink and a fries ($3.50) and I paid 6 dollars. So 3.50 plus 1 (or the large drink) is 4.50 so I am supposed to get 1.50 back. She return $.50 first and I was like wait that’s not true. She does the calculations and of course speaks in another language (with negative attitude) with her coworkers. Then she tells me to return the $.50 then she gives me a dollar I was confused for a sec. I clarified by saying I got fries for 3.50 and 1 dollar for the large so 1.50 should be returned. Any way she goes back and forth speaks with her coworkers madly. It was petty honestly she made a mistake she’s supposed to have the right attitude but instead she literally goes over the card to magically find that toppings don’t count so she can be right and charge me that one dollar. What’s saddening is that I treated nicely I was respectful and was actually trying to explain to her but on the other hand she was so rude. She speaks in her language instead of talking to me in English directly. It’s not even about that 1 dollar or whatever it was about her attitude the whole time. If she easily treats one customer like this she would probably treat other customers like that as well. And my drink ended up tasting watered down (I suspected it given the treatment). Vivi should do better esp with staff. There was no point with her being rude I was respectful the whole time but she throws a tantrum in her language and misunderstand the whole situation and makes it my fault!Honestly it’s all about customer service, one wouldn’t want to spend money in a place full of disrespectful people!!!

Staff were nice and I got an oreo creme brulee like I usually get but for some reason it randomly started tasting like salty cheese or caramel? This never happened before in any other vivi bubble tea place that I've gone to. I'm not sure if its part of the drink but it doesnt suit the drink at all
