What a warm, beautiful place! The servers were so kind and accomodating to our big group of 16 people. Since I was with a large group, I was able to try several different dishes, and each one was so good and unique. I highly recommend anything with the salsa amarilla. For dessert I had the lucuma ice cream, which had a slight maple flavor. To finish, the pisco sour with passionfruit. A 10 out of 10 dining experience 😍

We visited today to celebrate my mothers birthday, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing due to the lack of heat in the restaurant. It was 13 degrees outside, and inside felt no different—many of us kept our coats on the entire time, our feet were freezing, and every table around us was clearly uncomfortable.
What made this especially upsetting is that we chose this restaurant because it’s usually amazing. We had family drive in from Long Island specifically for this celebration. While the staff truly tried their best and were just as cold as the guests, the heating issue had apparently been going on all day.
Because of how cold it was, we rushed through dinner and didn’t even get to sing Happy Birthday—it was that uncomfortable. The bill was over $250, yet there was no acknowledgment, discount, or manager available to address the situation. We were told the owner was away.
Honestly, it would have been better to close for the day rather than provide guests with such a poor experience—especially on such a cold day. No heaters, no blankets, no real solution.
The food and service are usually consistent and great, which makes this even more disappointing. I truly hope this is addressed so future guests don’t have a similar experience.
