Genius menu, great drink selection (including Saki), engaging artists, friendly neighbors, plus Brown Rice Family music makes for a perfect afternoon in Brooklyn.

Fish with my curry was poor quality, like it had been frozen and thawed multiple times. Also threw in some Katsu chicken, pretty random. Also not the best quality Katsu I’ve ever had.

Great hole in the wall place with a lively relaxed atmosphere. I got the tacos and will be back for more. Seating is limited

Really great place. Nachos had good cheese and the green salsa is the best salsa in any place in NY. The curry was authentic and homey. Chicken was amazing. Definitely a place worth traveling to, definitely worth trying a few things
Love this place!! My daughter and I ate here on a weekend stay in Bed-Stuy. I had delicious tacos and she had a Japanese curry bowl. Have you ever had a yam taco? Go to Warude to get one. The chicken mole was excellent too. My daughter said the curry bowl was the best thing she has ever eaten.
Love the concept of Japanese tacos, was looking forward to it. The food was underwhelming.
Always love coming back here. Recommend teriyaki bowl and a side fried chicken taco
Food was fresh chicken was nicely charred and tender. It was enough for at least 2 . I had the chicken teriyaki bowl with cabbage brown rice and avocado on top. I’d get it again.

Good neighborhood joint serving classic Japanese food and also tacos. A fusion that may seem questionable, however, it does the job right and is more of a 2-in-1 shop instead of fusion.
The chicken teriyaki had very tender chicken and nicely flavored vegetable hiding underneath over a bed of brown rice. It was good! The chicken curry tasted like a classic curry with perfectly fried panko chicken. I kinda wish it had some vegetables with it, however.
This isn’t a place to go out of your way for, but great for locals in the neighborhood wanting a quick bite or a place to have some sake on a Thursday night. I will be coming back to this place on the occasion of having a long day at work and not really wanting to cook. Good food!
Foood is sooooo good.
Service is good.
Had the Japanese plate with salmon and also ordered chicken taco.
Ppl next to us had ramen that smelt amazing!!
They definitely don’t skimp you on food. Very reasonably priced and both styles of food they had were great. They also have a seating area that is covered.

Great spot in Bed-Stuy area!
This place is one of my favorites in the neighborhood for a well-priced lunch so I take no pleasure in leaving such a low review. However, I walked in yesterday to place an order and when I grabbed a menu at the counter I noticed a roach running up the menu toward my hand! It was the worst. I left immediately. I hope you guys call an exterminator and get that taken care of because the food really is good. I just don’t want to share it with roaches.
This is what I say when bigman knocks me over on the c train
