I consistently come here for the convenience (it’s in my ‘hood), ambiance (cozy with an eclectic funk/RnB/lounge playlists), and food (not THE best compared to other places but it hits the spot for soup/fried dumplings). Tasty cocktails too.

Food was decent. I enjoyed every single dish we ordered. Service was attentive. I definitely liked the ambiance, which I think made the experience even better. That being said, it’s a good place if you are in the area already.

It’s more of an American Chinese fusion…Pork over rice doused with the sweet sour sauce, a bit overpowering on sour side—did not finish.

If you want to experience drama from the server and terrible food, this is the place to go!
Ps: that was our 2nd visit, nothing has changed 🤷🏻♂️

First time ordering from here and I expected more. Just like the other reviews that ordered takeout, my order was extremely subpar! Not only is it overpriced but it lacks flavor, and care for a to-go order. I got the sesame chicken because it was labeled as popular on Uber eats…idk how but my food was DRY, no sauce that the chicken was cooked in and there was one lovely cute broccoli on top..ONE. I even asked for extra sauce from cooking to be added in when packaging up the chicken; still received dry food. I was better off going to one of the regular local Chinese spots up the block where the food is made with care and it’s substantial for HALF the price I paid at Wei’s. And they at least add a regular amount of broccoli because that’s standard. Seems like they need to treat their take out orders with the same love and care they use for guests that dine in; those dine-in meal pics actually look appetizing. The pictures are literally night and day!

Bartender will insult you for asking about accommodations for a serious food allergy (we even called before arriving to confirm that they could) and then provide a mealy mouth non-apology to try to save face when forced to admit that he screwed up. Dude should get a different job.
Dietary restrictions: lol. Good luck!
Well enough

Definitely a good late night place to grab something to eat after a few drinks. Good prices for a decent sized portion, the food is good, they are open late and serve drinks as well.

Pork soup dumplings absolutely terrible! The meat looks and tastes very unappetizing. The dumplings came all exploded and the dough wasn’t fully cooked and too thick for a soup dumpling. I just spent $45 on 2 apps and a meal and I could tell you I would NEVER come back here again. I expected for at least a $15-20 lo mein it would be served in a larger container. The lo mein did taste okay but I’ve had better. The spring rolls were only 2 and they were soggy as if they were sitting out for a while. The only thing I could say was really good was their diet cola but of course they didn’t make that so it explains it.

Decor is cute, prices are decent, staff is really nice. Food is extremely mediocre (borderline bad). Eggplant w/garlic sauce and salt/pepper chicken are decent, scallion pancakes taste like cardboard, fried pork buns have no flavor (caught my bf drinking the sauce bc the buns had so little flavor)
