This restaurant is:

Delicious, local, no-frills, fast-paced, cash-only, a little messy, and a great value.

This restaurant is not:

Trying to do anything other than feed you good food for a good price.

We eat here at least once a month.

It’s really sad that I have to rate Angie & Ben. I’ve been giving them business since a kid, like grew up on this Chinese & the way she treats you as a customer after all the service you provided is insane.
I called her & went back & tried to figure it out before it came to this but she gives attitude. She’s denied the claims. She doesn’t even greet you anymore when you speak, just “what’s ya order” with the mean mug. Now I understand she may be overwhelmed & tired, she’s been behind the stove for years, BUT FIND younger workers or something. Or shut down for a while til you are back to yourself. All I hear are bad things and that her attitude sucks. You gave me 7/8 wings and fries were dry, chicken low quality. Never will I eat there again, don’t care how much I have before.

This spot is only a 3 min walk from me, and I purposely go to a location 15 min further. Do what you will with that information.

Their bean curd dishes might be my favorite in the neighborhood. Their steamed veggies are crisp and really nice.

The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The audacity to have your business in a black community and then treat the locals like trash. Nope yall are done. Won’t be supporting this business no more.

My favorite Chinese food spot for years. I live right around the corner so the convince. It does have delivery, takes cash but has an ATM machine there. Love this spot!

I got the garlic broccoli, the sweet sour pork and shrimp with veggies - all separate meals with brown rice. That was all $27. I ate dinner and had enough left over to store in 3 separate food containers for meal prep. That makes 4 meals for $27, that's $7 a meal! With whopping servings of veggies, and protein, and high fiber grains! I was definitely satisfied. At the end of a long day, I just wanna have food ready that's yummy, healthy and not painful on my wallet. This place fills that need for me.

The atmosphere is not aesthetic or neat or trendy. But I gave it 5 stars coz as with any asian food place, the gnarlier it is, that's when you know food's good. And this food is good - value for money and comfortingly filling.

I never go to this restaurant but I didn't feel like traveling to the other restaurant i usually go to on Lewis Ave. This place on Hancock streets is the worst chinese food I ever had. I ordered garlic chicken wings with veggie fried rice. The rice was not fried, the vegetables were cut up lettuce, onions, carrots and broccoli no seasoning nothing. The chicken was spicy; I didn't ask for spicy I asked for garlic there's a differnece. I also ordered a side of plain lomein which was fine but but when i got home I was disappointed. I didnt need the chinese but i wanted it and thats what i get for not cooking. SMH . I didn't like at all I'm never going back. I'f I eat chinese food it's going to be the one on Lewis Ave becauze this is the worst chinese food I ever had.
