Came here on a Sunday afternoon. Short line to order and then about 5 min wait for the ice cream itself.
Being lactose intolerant, I was excited for dairy-free ice cream. That meant not having to take a lactaid pill with dessert which is huge for me as we’re never sure if one pill is ever enough or I suffer the consequences later.
So while the ice cream was lactose free, it was quite disappointing. All ice cream is basically vanilla soft serve and then topped with different toppings to make the handful of different variations they offer… meaning all the flavor is just on top but not within the ice cream itself.
I got the chocolate peanut butter. First couple bites with the homemade sauces and the pretzel bits were good. But then when it got to just the ice cream itself it was bland. A better alternative for the future would be if they could mix the sauces and toppings into the ice cream and then top it on top of the cone. In addition, the ice cream itself was more ice flakes rather than the creamy goodness of ice cream.
Overall, sadly not worth coming again even though they serve lactose free ice cream.

It’s so exciting to find an all vegan ice cream place, and I think the actual ice cream presentation is unique! You can pre-select from their options of soft-serve, crumb coating and sauce combinations or create your own.
I got the chocolate peanut butter pretzel cone with sweet cream ice cream. One thing that’s cool is that before putting soft serve in the cone, they put some of the sauces and topping, so once you eat the top of the cone, you can still get all those flavors. Then once the soft serve is in the cone, it’s covered in the coating of your choice (pretzel for me), and the sauces were drizzled on top. The way sauces were done for this one was a bit messy to eat, but super delicious. I loved the texture the pretzel coating added!
The price was also reasonable in terms of what ice cream sundaes cost in NYC.
The shop itself is small, and there’s only 3 stools inside. Because my cone was messy, I don’t think I’d want to try and walk with it, so I was happy I came during a less busy time and was able to get a stool. Also, the only way to order is through a tablet, and while the employee working did communicate she was there to answer any questions about the menu, it was a slightly weird experience of having an employee be right there, but then typing in your order — but also maybe during busier times, the system is really beneficial ??♀️

Thank you for the vegan treat! We had the S’More ice cream and it was so incredibly tasty. The Graham crackers was crunchy, the ice cream silky, the fudge was just enough and the toasted marshmallow was a great touch. Worth the stop!

Advertised to close at 11pm on Saturdays. Upon arrival we found out they closed at 10pm, as we watched the worker serve the last customers as they locked the door and laughed.

I can not recommend this spot enough. Every single flavor is delicious!! There is usually a little line, but that’s just because it’s so good.
This place is great. Good ice cream and concept. However, it could benefit from a deep clean. Glass around toppings is dirty and touched up. Ice cream machines are chaotically placed. Lots of potential. Needs some TLC from the owners or managers.

The presentation and taste of the oat ice cream here is SO good. The Strawberry Shortcake is my absolute favorite non-dairy dessert in the entire city. The store-bought strawberry shortcake ice cream bars were my favorite as a kid; they really have recreated a non-dairy version of it at Urban Dessert Lab and it was such a treat. My friend loved it, too.
Three stars for atmosphere. It's a grab-and-go kind of place so don't expect any bells & whistles.
I took one star away for service because the server was giving a customer a hard time about being a few pennies short. I couldn't believe it. Either it's a management thing, or the server was having a bad day.

Absolutely delicious soft serve! The toppings and sauces are also amazing. I’d recommend the chocolate crumble with peanut better!

Very mid ice cream. Waste of money
I dont’t think it’s worth the hype sorry. Too big and tasteless. But at least vegan!
