Went here for breakfast since we were on the way to the transit museum (highly recommend if youre into history and the transit system in general or just something to entertain the kids for a bit). Staff was friendly and there was a good amount of people dropping in for drinks. Our food was seasoned well and quite filling. The egg sandwich was nice, buttery and had a fluffy texture. Matcha was also tasty as expected. Hope to stop by again when we're in the area

Pros: Kyoto cold brew is delicious!! Almond croissant was good. Ample space. Limited pastry selection but what's there looks good. Extensive drink menu. Mexican coke and other good finds in the drink case.
Cons: Drip coffee tasted a bit off, and was so hot it took 15 min before it could be drunk. Wait was looong and we had two drinks that just needed pouring. We almost left w/o bc we had to go to work, so don't come if you don't have 15 min to kill. They seemed stressed, maybe need another staff person. No gluten free or vegan options labeled in the pastry case.
Biggest con: there is a sign saying they will upgrade your drink if you leave them a five-star review, so.... bribery makes me distrust the five star reviews that are here. If you have to pay for five star reviews then you aren't earning them.

The strawberry matcha wasn't the strongest matcha flavor, but it's light and yummy. Strawberries are very fresh tasting and there aren't too much chunks in the drink (which I liked). A lot of the coffee places in the area are packed, but this one has ample seating and great natural lighting. The bathroom was clean as well. I'm not sure if the wifi is open to customers, but LinkNYC is accessible from within the building and it's good enough. Also, I don't think there are outlets as they are all closed off. Note that they do give you paper straws.
Great place to work during the day! Lots of seating, free WiFi, a bathroom, a couple of outlets. Pastries look delicious too

Coffee is great. Pastries are nice. I would love to stay and read and a book, but they have the A/C set to polar vortex mode. It’s like an icebox in there. Had to leave after like 5 minutes of shuddering.
Kenyan espresso was really good. Skip the egg sandwich and pesto pasta, nothing special. The egg sandwich bread was a little stale and needed something more than just egg and cheese. Pasta was creamy pesto.

I love this place! Andi makes the best drinks and is always friendly and goes out of his way for customers. He is also incredibly talented and sometimes makes special coffee art, which always makes my day and makes this place stand out. Great to have baristas like him in the neighborhood, makes it feel like more of a neighborhood spot!

Playing Blondie..love that. Had to have my cappacunio re made as luke warm at best ,but second go around perfect. My goat cheese omlette was good, but the salad that it was served with was definetly past it's best...it looked bedragled and tasted moldy
