My daughter has been craving wing stop for a while, and this order is waaaaaay too salty. Disgusting. And I'm someone who eats salty snacks. This is non edible. I can't eleven there is no other review stating this.
The fries has sugar or something sweet in them and those are too salty as well.
The boneless chicken we have are garlic parm, hot honey rub, original hot, and lemon pepper. The only 1 that was actually edible was hot honey rub and it was still too salty but edible. And they didn't give us any carrots n celery sticks.
They got rid of my second-favorite produce shop to put this place in.
Let that sink in.
A small business run by Korean owners—who genuinely cared about the neighborhood—gone. These were people who smiled when you walked in. Who treated my dog like family. The kind of place that slipped you a free dog treat, not because they had to, but because they saw you. Because you mattered. If that’s not what community looks like, then what is?
They replaced that with Wingstop—a sodium-slicked, sugar-coated death trap pretending to be a restaurant. Another overpriced franchise slinging low-nutrient, calorie-dense food to a neighborhood that’s already been stripped of options. A place where people are hungry—not just for food, but for real care. And instead of nourishment, we get wings dunked in MSG, salt, and syrup. Welcome to the new Brooklyn.
Let’s talk about what they’re selling:
Wings that cost a fortune for what they are.
Sauces loaded with sugar and sodium, masking the fact that the meat itself is subpar.
Sides that are just fillers—fries, fried corn, and empty carbs. No fresh, no balance, no relief.
You’re not just paying too much—you’re paying with your health.
Sure, they hire a few Black folks, and that’s more than I can say for a lot of spots in this neighborhood. But that’s not redemption. It’s tokenism wrapped in corporate branding. There’s no transparency. No real accountability. And just like McDonald’s and Taco Bell, the playbook is the same: find a struggling neighborhood, kick out the nourishing options, and funnel in more processed poison under the guise of “flavor.”
They didn’t just open a Wingstop—they destroyed something beautiful to do it. A store that gave back, that nourished, that respected its customers. And in its place, we got more grease, more sugar, more blood pressure meds in the making.
This isn’t food. It’s a scam with lemon pepper seasoning. And the fact that it replaced a place where I could buy real vegetables is one of the most disrespectful things I’ve ever seen done to this community.
I’m not here to beg Wingstop to do better. I don’t want reform. I want it gone. I want my produce shop back. I want a neighborhood that cares about its people more than its profit margins.
And to anyone reading this—don’t just look at what these chains are selling. Look at what they replaced to be here. That’s the real cost.

It's a bleak place, the food is excessively salty. It's my second time at a wings stop and my first at this location and it will definitely be my last.

As a first time Wing Stop customer, the food was not good. I got a 3 piece tender meal - mild with fries. The tenders were not spicy at all, just very oily. The fries had this sweet/savory flavoring going on and I didn't like it. If I had to score the food out of 10 it would get a 3. I’m willing to give Wing Stop another try (at a different location) but this location is a no for me.
