I was very unfortunately openly weeping intermittently throughout brunch (bad morning) but our server handled it perfectly and didn’t make it weirder than it already was. Shout out to that king! Also the food was very good and they played the entirety of being killed by geese which was pleasant. Would come again thank you for the extra napkins (high quality, great for dabbing at tears) xox and also my Bloody Mary was excellent

Just a personal reminder of the near cold chicken, and the not so cohesive menu this season. Plates have gotten smaller, prices have gotten higher really not as good as it once was for the money (250 with 20% tip and bought a bottle) Remember to go to diner instead. Everyone is nice tho

Winona’s has decent food, with the cauliflower and cavatelli dishes standing out. The other dishes were okay but not exceptional, and one of our meals wasn’t cooked as expected. The service was unremarkable and the staff handled a mix-up in a way that felt a bit awkward. Overall, it was an average experience and not one that left a strong impression.

Love this restaurant. We've really enjoyed every dinner, dessert, wine and cocktail we've had here. The grilled bread with caramelized anchovy oil, scotch egg, and all of the pasta dishes were especially good and so were the carajillo, sweet maiz and forest old fashioned. In addition to the food and drinks, really appreciate how knowledgable, attentive and friendly the staff is here. The warm aesthetic of the space itself is a nice compliment to this as well.
My wife and I like this spot so much that we recently had our wedding here. In every way the experience exceeded our expectations. Planning all of the logistics via email was organized and professional. Had a great time trying a few cocktails and basically every dish on the menu at our tasting. Leading up to the wedding, restaurant management was responsive and kindly accommodated a few last-minute requests.
The day of the wedding was perfect. The staff was in close contact with our group the entire day/night. The timing of all the room changes, dishes being served, etc. felt exactly right which I'm sure required a lot of logistics. Food and drinks were incredible. Also appreciated that the restaurant was well decorated especially because we didn't have our own florals/decorations.
Really, I think I was most impressed by how hospitable everyone was. After the wedding I heard so many anecdotes about small, positive interactions our guests had with staff from compliments about speeches to quick turnarounds for requested recipes. I couldn't be more appreciative of Winona's. Especially wanted to thank Cressida for hosting our earlier visit and providing a lot of initial information/answers and Steven for hosting the tasting and being our primary point of contact on the wedding day in a very professional and friendly way.
Couldn't recommend this restaurant more, we will be back!

Love the lamb !
We tried different dishes suggested by a server there. The lamb was seasoned so probably and it was potentially one of the best lamb I have ever had in a year. Tatar was incredible and cucumber salad was delicious.
The food is always consistent here. There were on this occasion a few service errors, left uncorrected, but alas I’m weighing all visits together and putting emphasis on the food — it’s so yummy. I highly recommend Winona’s.
