I ordered a cake for my son's Bar Mitzvah. I was very upset and disappointed. The cake did not match my order. Instead of a chocolate cake with French vanilla, I got a simple cake with an incomprehensible cream, and absolutely not delicious and ugly. The name was spelled incorrectly. I asked to put a kippah in the middle cake - it was not done. I ordered one cake and received another that did not correspond to the company’s advertising. The worst thing is that the cake was absolutely not tasty and those who ate this cake had stomach pain and diarrhea. The cake was size xl, and almost more than half of it we threw in the trash.
The level of production of goods corresponds to a low level
and violations of all standards of bakery made.
I have already contacted the Department of Mental Health and Gygiene, Department Food Safety, Department Store violations, Consumer Affairs,
NYC Attorney General, to check this bakery company.
I do not recommend this company, which is engaged in fraud and misleading customers with its service.

They didn’t send the right cake we asked for. They sent it too early!!! It was a very simple cake , not with the right flavor and very expensive!!! Not worth $160. Don’t waste your money!!! Very disappointing!!!

I just placed an order with them and the order was not correct. They gave me two of the same cakes, so I could not serve them both. Also, i ordered 50 of the marzipan/Merengue cupcakes. They were delivered frozen. I actually ordered 52 and received only 50. I let them defrost to test before I give as favors. They were hard as a rock..the sponge cake was so hard that most people threw them out. There were expensive. I have ordered from World of Chantilly before for my childrens Bar and bat Mitzvah, and they were terrific. I am very dissapointed and very embarrased. I havent had a moment to call them yet, but will call this week.

They did not make the cake as I discussed with them. The cake itself was very dry. But what was most disappointing was the cardboard we had to cut into to give my guests. Called them and all they said was it’s supposed to be like that. Didn’t even care of the issue. Never in my life have I seen cardboard place under the fondant. My guests were very disappointed in seeing this. Never again will I ever order from here again. I guess going elsewhere next year so I get what I order and quality cake.

Ordered a 3 tier cake. When I first called I ended up going back and forth for a week with the lady sounding very confused and always loosing the email of the cake I would like and me re emailing. Finally got on page and agreed on a cake. A day before the cake was to be delivered she lost the email yet again and had to resend the cake my daughter wanted. And half the things we originally discussed and she agreed on she tells me she can’t do. We receive the cake and many of my guests were disappointed as there was cardboard under the fondant. Cardboard only belongs under each layer. That is more than enough support for the cake. It completely destroyed the look of the cake once we had to start cutting into it and many guests were shocked as to how we had to gut it to remove the cardboard. When we called all we were told that is how it’s done. I have never in my life seen it and spoke with other bakers and that’s it NOT how a tiered cake is made.
I am never ordering from world of Chantilly ever again. This ruined my experience and I will be going elsewhere for the 2 soon to come parties. I won’t even give them the business for pastries as I had rude and unprofessional service from them
Do not order any specialty cake from them. I ordered a 3 tier cake for my daughter's bat mitzvah and at first they tell me what I asked of them was no problem. I had no choice so I agreed since nowhere else can I go order a cake for 2 days later. They didn't do the butterflies in the color we asked, they left it the color of the chocolate and couldn't do the topper at all. The flowers though edible did not look nice at all. The cake was also very dry. What disappointed me the most was the fondant that nobody was able to eat as they had the smart idea to add a cardboard under the fondant besides under each tier of the cake. I have never in my life seen that and they just said it's supposed to be like that when I called. I am here to tell you no it's not and you never put cardboard between the cake and the fondant ever. I will never order from this place ever again and I hope people skip here and order elsewhere if you want a specialty cake.

I recently ordered from Chantilly, without any recommendations. We had shabbat dinner and celebrated 91 st birthday for my mother in-law. Everything I ordered was just perfect. Tasty sweets, delicious cannoli, amazing challah, bourekas, dinner challah rolls were a bit hit. Thank you to World of Chantilly.
