Not bad at all, the wagyu beef is very good, melts in your mouth. The ambeince is what makes this place shine. It feels like youre in a rural chinese spot with a modern twist. Service was very good

My first two visits were great, but today’s lunch experience (for two) was disappointing. The manager (I think)with glasses, who seated us, was rude. At 1 pm, there was no dessert, side dish, or proper drinks displayed. When I asked if there was a lunch special or discount because there is nothing there, she replied sharply, “We just started, of course we don’t have anything yet,” embarrassing me in front of my friend. Fifteen minutes later, they set up a small dessert stall, which we still appreciated. But we didn't get any entertainment or any special things as usual. Normally there are games or toys displayed. The lunch is same price with dinner which gets all the other favors.(costed around $50 per person)

Additionally, we were told 10 days ago we’d get 50% off the $10 soup base, but no discount was applied. When I called in the evening to inform about that, the manager refused a refund. They said, if I didn't show, I won't get it. I mean this is just $10 but I am just asking for justification. They already know my member ID (which we have to login to the tablet) then, why do I need to show the sms again, and the waitress didn't ask me too. The waitress attending our table struggled with English, and we had to repeat ourselves several times (which we didn't mind) but this lead to many misunderstandings. On the phone, the manager sounded impatient and dismissive, asking, “So, you want to take the money out? What’s your membership ID?” and well this is not $10 lunch. I paid for $115 total for this lunch today and I am not sure if I should be treated this way. I dont think I will come back again and as they said, I will come and get my cash sometimes later.

👏🏻 Give Ray employee of the month!!!👏🏻 I’ve been here a handful of times, the food is great, lovely atmosphere. However, today’s experience was even better due to Rays customer service!! He provided us information about the experience even though we were not first timers, he provided me with a hair band when he saw my hair was in the way of enjoying my food, and he even took the time out to drain the oil from our broth! The staff is great here but by far Ray has provided the best customer service! Super attentive and very friendly!!! If you see this, know that you are a gem!! 🤍

Just had the best dinner experience with my family. Our server was Jin, and he was the absolute best. We never had hotpot and Jin was so accommodating, he even went the extra mile and ordered for us! He always came to check in, make sure that we got any meat that we may have left in the soup. The sweetest guy ever!! Thank you Jin for such an awesome experience :)

bad experience , I came looking for my order and nobody listened to me everyone told me that they did not know, as if they did not work in the restaurant, and they were workers.

I have loved this place for some time. Went back over the weekend and there are some changes in the menu. A couple of my favorite items are now gone, but nothing major. Only complaint is that the rice was soggy and overcooked. That has never happened here before as I used to use this place as an example of good rice. The service was top tier as usual! The staff is always very helpful. I would recommend to everyone!

Great presentation and atmosphere. Free mango drinks that come with the AYCE (I got 4 of them). The black tripes were also really great. They give you these little baskets to swish the meat in so it’s easier to keep track of your own meat. Great experience for ~$45 pp. Bonus: they played KPDH soundtracks.

As a hot pot enthusiast, I was eager to try this place out, being a frequent visitor of nearby Chong Qing. My partner and I visited three weeks ago, and unfortunately, it was a letdown.

Pros:
- Food had a pretty good taste to it, having pork included in their soup bases. They had a pretty unique choice of food, I enjoyed the cilantro beef sticks and the soup dumpling options as choices I don’t see elsewhere. It was bizarre to not see chicken slices, which is a hot pot staple.
- The interior is pretty impressive looking - it’s not what makes or breaks a place for me, but I have to admit some time and money were clearly spent on it.

Cons:
- The service was just not good at all. I understand these jobs aren’t exactly fun, but would it kill a server to crack a smile? It took us almost half an hour to get our food started, as our waitress wasn’t thorough in her explanation as to the menu options (luxury and regular, I believe it was, we figured it out as we went), and no one checked on us to see if we needed help. We finally flagged a random worker nearby and got the order in.
- We were seated in what had to be the worst seats in the place. A small table for two right next to the front counter and nearby standing employees; it felt like we were on a front stage as a show for everyone, with employees constantly passing us by left and right. We requested a seat change but were told it wasn’t possible? Ok.
- A few flies buzzed around us as we ate; that was a brand new experience in all my hotpot place visits.
- The seats weren’t comfortable, but I ignored it. My partner pointed out as we left that we didn’t receive cushions like everyone else had on their seats.
-Definitely expensive for the experience. Chong Qing was almost the same price for larger food portions and more options.

Probably won’t come back again with Chong Qing nearby, but I’d give it another shot if things improved.

I went to Xiang Hot Pot in Brooklyn and had a great time. The food was pretty good and the service was nice and attentive. The prices were reasonable for hot pot, and I liked that they had many options to choose from. I also got to play a little game at the end and won a cute small bear plushie. It was such a fun experience overall. I would definitely come back again with friends.
