Fuking so slow!!!!!! I was in a hurry and the waiters started arguing in front of me, which wasted 20 minutes of my time. I will never come back.

COME FOR THE EGG TARTS! I’ve grown up eating all kinds of egg tarts and these are by far one of the top contenders for best egg tarts. They have a nice light crust but with a dense thick soft custard-like egg filling. For whatever reason they taste a bit bland coming directly out of the oven as you burn your mouth trying to eat it fresh, but once it cools down a little you can taste all the flavours so much better. So be patient and let it cool.

I came in the winter time (Feb) around 1pm and they just had a large batch coming out of the oven. I tried coming here in the summer prior and was told there was a 45 min wait just for egg tarts. It gets very busy here and people buy the egg tarts in BOXES! Dude in-front of me ordered 4 boxes as soon as they came out. I’m just glad they make huge batches at a time.

Nowadays, the use of plastic boxes to store egg tarts is really a mess. A plastic box can only hold 4 flat. If you buy half a dozen, the other two are directly stacked on top. I have tried very hard to straighten them, but they are still crushed when I get home. , it is still better to use carton packaging in the past, 6 rectangular cartons fit perfectly, it is delicious, but it is a mess when you get home.

No longer Xin Fa Bakery; it's now part of the Lily Bloom franchise. Which is disappointing, but it is popular (with the younger generation) anyway. Super crowded.

You won’t find better value than the egg tart for $1.75—it’s the best bang for your buck worldwide! Taste wise, even better than those original pastel de nata in Portugal!

I'm a regular customer. I bought some bread for 7.75. I gave the coins, but the lady at the front desk didn't accept them. She gave me two 25-cent coins and didn't take the 10-cent coins. I was speechless and said that others didn’t want the coins she gave them. I said my coins were given to me by others. Why don’t I want them? It’s against the law not to accept coins. Something is wrong

Let’s talk about the steamed buns first! I don’t know if the pastry chef has changed or what, but the steamed buns are not like before when you bite into them and you can see the layers one after another! That’s the steamed buns!! It’s been missing for a while now. I bought a package of steamed buns the day before yesterday, and I saw that they were layered again! I came here to complain, and I hope the shop owner sees it and asks the chef who can make layered steamed buns to make it! Isn’t it? Because the steamed buns you make are different from those of other bakeries. It's different, that's why I keep buying from you. If they are all the same, it is better to go to other stores to buy them. After all, other people’s prices are 3-4$ for 8 pieces, while yours is 4$ for 6 pieces.
The store was newly renovated in 2018 or 2019. It is more beautiful. I like it. In addition to the usual few regular guests, the bread types have also been expanded into various styles. Not bad, recommended :)

I came for their famous egg tarts. I also came for some coconut bread. I arrived upon opening because I knew that parking is limited in this area. I had to wait 30 minutes for all of the baked goods to come out. The egg tarts don't come out until about 1 1/2 to 2 hours after opening, but on the day I went, they were out in a 1/2 hour. On the day I went, they did not have coconut bread, so I bought 2 pork buns, 2 boxes of egg tarts and 2 chocolate walnut breads. Everything I purchased tasted good. I don't really like chocolate, but the flavor of the chocolate on the bread is faint. I froze some of the egg tarts. As for the rest of the items, I shared them in my church. I also bought some hot tea and that tasted good, too. The staff was very friendly and I stayed to eat for a little while, but took the rest of the food with me to church. The food is very cheap in this area.

Parking: The parking is limited in this area. You can park your car but you have to come early. The meter is only free on Sunday or at night.

Kid-friendliness: It's a bakery, of course you can bring your kids.

Wheelchair accessibility: If you had a wheelchair you could get in, but the place is small and you would take up considerable room.

It’s Pasta de Nata is literally the best in Brooklyn, yet in a very reasonable price - $1.75 each. It is a must try and it is just like those in Macau!

The bread is here is the freshest on 8th ave and the best. The egg tart is the best here. The service is quick also but the store is a little small but enough for a bread and drink store.
