Just a heads-up: they no longer accept phone calls ahead of time for the Puffy Custard Tarts (Portuguese egg tarts). But they're still delicious, absolutely still worth the wait in line.

Home of the popular Chinese egg tart where the custard has a creme brulee consistency rather than a solid texture. Great if you could get them fresh out of the oven/rack and are warm.
Xin Fa Bakery is a great little spot for some delicious treats! The food was definitely a highlight – everything I tried was really fresh and tasty. The service was also excellent, very friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was good, though perhaps not the coziest, but it's still a solid place. Overall, a really positive experience and I'd happily go back for more!

Amazing Pasteis de Nata! I had not come here in years and did not know that they started making pasteis. I have been to the original location where the famous pasteis was invented in Lisboa- Fabrica de Nata and I can surely say that this place has it down to a science! On weekends be prepared to queue 30+ min for pasteis.

Everyone comes here for the pastel de nata (Portuguese egg tarts). Theirs are huge with a super velvety and creamy center. They make for the best dessert and/or snack.

$2 Portuguese egg tarts - they only sell these but they are just like regular egg tarts!
Really great value. I would come back again. The custard is eggy and there is a great amount of it in the tart. The pastry crust is thin. They make it pretty often so I got mine warm!!!
This was so yummy and better than Flushing egg tarts for price, value, and taste!!

I had the best pineapple bun from the bakery when I stopped in randomly! Very crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. I recommend!

$1.75 egg tarts that are sooooo delicious. Best eaten warm and on the spot. I got some to go and the warmth of the egg tart in the to go bag made it a bit wet and mushy but that’s my error. So many other tasty looking pastries, but you MUST get the egg tart. 10/10
