Attended DragonFest and stopped by the Yaya Tea stand. My friends and I got Shrimp Onigiris, Bubble Tea and another drink (can’t remember the name). The drinks were great! The shrimp in the Onigiri was so small — it was truly ALL rice, lol. When I finally got to the shrimp, it tasted decent but it left a bit to be desired.

Love this small spot across from LIU. Tricky at first eating their rice and chicken ball. ( probably got that wrong ) because of the paper but after the second it was all good. Truth be told one was more than enough. Easy to order, Friendly staff and quick with your order.

I REALLY TRIED TO LIKE THIS PLACE because it's an addition to the neighbourhood and because one of my best friends loved the Chinatown location. Similar to what a lot of the reviews say, the fruit teas are quite bland and lack both tea and fruit flavour. I also felt that their onigiri were more rice than toppings, which made me sad to eat just a rice ball with dots of flavour. Their service however is very nice and it is easy to pick up- in a pinch. Unfortunately would not likely choose this place until something changes about the tea or onigiri. Every once in a while I'll come back to try.

Fast service and great taste. They give a good amount of boba and jelly. Love that they have a manned cashier as well as ordering kiosks

When they get your order right, it’s good. But more times than not, my orders wrong. Not to mention, every time I go in there I’m ignored and have to call for someone to come to the front because I can see my order waiting on the counter for pickup. Paid for a large Japanese rice ball, which should have crab egg kewpie and seaweed salad, and all I got was crab and kewpie mayo. Mind you, I paid extra for extra crab and even that part was wrong. $8 for the tiniest piece of crab and mayo with a ton of rice? No time to go back either because I was on my lunch break, so very frustrating. I don’t normally write bad reviews or even really reviews in general, but because this consistently happens I felt inclined to this time.

I got a large chicken rice ball and there was barely any chicken in it. The ratio of rice to chicken was very unbalanced.

I only got the large Yaya chicken rice ball. It was very tasty. The chicken was marinated well and hit had a delicious seaweed salad in it. I want to try the spicy prawn one next time. Price was a tad more than what I would have liked to pay but for a unique food item in the area it’s worth it. The service was friendly and I am looking forward to trying the teas next time as well.Parking: Impossible to find.Kid-friendliness: Seems friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Easy to enter

So lately, I've developed a taste for Rice Balls. In Brooklyn, there is this little spot called YaYa Tea. It was crowded, usually that is a sign of something good. I am not fond of lines, but at the urging of my wife, I decided to wait and give it a chance. We ordered three sets of rice balls, I don't have pics because my previous phone was lost but needless to say, they were great. Tasted great. And the teas were also great tasting. I intend to visit again and this time I'm sure to have some pics... This one is a like..
