Best place in the world for food!!!!!!!! I came from Qatar just to try Yemeni cafe its so delicious when I had the first taste of the lamb handeth and the fahasa I started crying. The food tastes so good the service was amazing I wanted to kiss the guys feet if I was not broke I would tip $100. Yemeni cafe thank you for existing!!!
Drove 4 hours to eat here the other day during the snow storm. Genuinely is my favorite restaurant in NYC. Although it’s not the same as it used to be (pre COVID), it’s always had so many delicious, authentic Yemeni dishes. It’s on my “must-try” list next to Qahwah House if you’re Yemeni or looking to experience a bit of the cuisine. The soup and salad are amazing, as well as their fresh flatbread. There’s a self serve tea station that saw me more than a few times...
My favorite restaurant. I haven’t had anything from here that I didn’t like! My family lives 1.5 hours away and once or twice a year or when we have something to celebrate, I bring them food from here. Those are some of our best memories! Thank you!
