We went last night and despite having a lot of reservations, they squeezed us in. The food was delicious, the service was excellent. Easy recommend. The bread is impressive and the flavors all blend so well.

Very bad management team. They don’t know how to service their customers. Keeping their customers wait for more than an hour. Very disappointing customer service.

If you’re going to take reservations for Ramadan at least learn how to manage the reservations. Making people wait over an hour for reservation and then still not able to seat them but letting other people in is really bad management. They used to be good but they let their popularity and NYT feature get to their head. If you’re looking for a good experience for iftaar do NOT come here.

One of my favorite restaurants in the city. I catered from here for an iftar and they helped organize a great meal for us. We were hosting close to 60 people and the portions, pricing, and food were all amazing. All my guests went out of their way to compliment the food and mentioned it was some of the best food they have had here in nyc. Service was great and personal to the point where the chef himself took care of me! I’m looking forward to eating here again soon

The staff at Yemenat were so gracious with me and my friend! We were a walk-in on a very busy day and still managed to get a table after a very short wait. The ambiance was warm and lively. The food was something to write home about! Absolutely rich and delicious! I had the lamb haneeth and the beef fahsa. Talk about flavor! I wish my stomach could take it all in, but the portions were so generous. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better? I got dessert: The bent assahan was out of this world! Light, flaky, buttery. My goodness. Thank you so much Yemenat for a remarkable meal.

Recommended dishes: Shafoot شفوت, Rashoosh Yemeni Bread رشوش, Vanilla Ice Cream with Nuts
They’re good at presentation, but the food quality isn’t great and their preparation feels careless.

An amazing experience - the value and flavor was 100% there! Get the shafoot, fava bean dip, lamb haneeth, and all the desserts.

⭐️⭐️ | 😕 Not Satisfied
In my experience, I visited the restaurant to purchase Bint Al-Sahn for takeout. Upon arrival, I ordered several pieces and asked for them to be placed in a container to go, but I was informed that the item was available for dine-in only.
I had previously ordered the same item through a delivery app, however the staff stated that takeout was not available. The interaction felt unwelcoming.
I hope the restaurant can improve communication and clearly clarify its takeout policy for customers in the future.
