A wonderful Yemeni restaurant .. great people… great food… and the big circle bread: the rashoosh. They have the fahsa, they have the kibdeh, and of course they have the haneeth but they also have Yemeni favs that are not usually found at other restaurants: shafoot, Sana’a kebab, and roti bread! But my fav.. that rice. Hands down the best rice I’ve had in a long time! A def must try!

First, review your bill and count your money carefully. I paid with cash but was charged a credit card fee, and I didn’t receive my change either.
Second, the food and portion sizes have noticeably changed. The rashoosh was much thinner compared to my last three visits. The Fahsa tasted different this time, less meat and was mostly watery (maraq). Im sure it was missing the كشنة(the onion, green pepper and tomato mix)that supposed to be sautéd in the clay dish before adding the meat and maraq. As for the sahawiq, it’s not even worth describing—it was disappointing. I’m not sure what has changed, but it’s clear it has affected the quality of the food.

Omg the FOOD WAS SO DELICIOUS ? The plate was big, I couldn't finish my food, took home. Each plate came with bread, which was great. Another discovery for me, the tea? fist time tried tea with spice, and it was so good. My honest recommendation. Go and support your local business.

A big disappointment, unfortunately, considering the reviews and the marketing done for this restaurant. Haneez came super dry, bland, and tasteless. Soup and liver came almost cold, and Fahsa was salty. Lastly, bread was rubbery.
Service was good, and the atmosphere was outstanding. I hope the kitchen takes my feedback.

Great food and atmosphere. I enjoyed the way they chock the fish. The staff are easily frazzled, but it’s understandable as I think this is a family restaurant. Try them out. You’ll like it.

I had the soup broth, a salad, the baked lamb which fell off the bone and melted in my mouth, and a cardamom ice cream dessert with caramel sauce, crushed cookies and coated nuts. All I can say is YUM! Definitely worth trying when you go to Bay Ridge. More than the usual middle eastern food. Eman the manager is a gem and directed me to such tasteful dishes. Thanks, Eman! ❤️

The name of dentist Afolake Farotimi I was exactly a third of an hour late. She told me, "No, we are in this situation. After 15 minutes we will cancel it." This was the third appointment between us. The first time she didn't call me, she called me a day after the appointment. And the second time. When I came here on Saturday, it was on the date. Of course, I asked the administration to change this doctor after the administration itself, one of them, was making fun of me and was also squealing, her voice was loud. But when I entered the comments and their review, I was not surprised because if I had entered from the beginning, I would not have started any treatment journey with them.
