Zaca Cafe is a black owned business in Bedstuy Brooklyn, NY. Open since May 2018, Zaca is a small storefront, hidden gem that you wouldn't want to overlook. It's a great place to grab coffee on one side with a full restaurant/bar on the other. Although the space may be small the portion -size served is very full. This French American cuisine serves flavor and soul-filled dishes for both brunch and lunch. It's a cool, intimate vibe with an excellent reputation for customer service

My most consistent delivery go-to. The chicken BLT panini always hits the spot and the veggie burger is something I order regularly despite not being a vegetarian. The sides are always excellent too. The food tastes very fresh and feels more nutritious than a lot of other quick options.

Came here for a mini celebration with my sister on a Saturday afternoon. We were seated immediately our waitress Vanessa gave us amazing service despite having many more tables to serve and the staff was friendly and helpful. I got the fish and chips which was perfectly crispy and well seasoned, my sister got an omelette and home fries she said it was pretty good! This is such a cute spot! Would definitely recommend for brunch, dates or friendly catch up

There are few words I can use to describe how much I love this place. Everything about it is special and welcoming, the food, people, atmosphere are joyous. The only sad thing about it is that I couldn’t eat everything at once! If you are wondering where to go for a cozy meal, this is the place! I will be returning shortly!

Hands down the best place for brunch in Bed Stuy! 12/10 recommend the French toast- best we’ve ever had anywhere. I customized a salad and it was fantastic. The food is delicious and the service is truly top notch. Also, so much food for the price - great value! Vanessa was fantastic!! When we first arrived it was busy but she took care of us right away and was the perfect waitress checking in at the right times. She needs a raise! Can’t believe I slept on this awesome spot - will definitely be back.

Really nicely decorated. If you identify as a black woman, you will feel celebrated seeing all of the vibrant art on their cushions, paintings and other decorative pieces.Service was great, the server was so attentive the owner stepped out to let me know where the best spot was for my office work. I ordered a latte w/ almond milk, the Zaca Platter and their pancakes. The grits in the Zaca platter was too good; well seasoned and the salsa verde is something I’m going to add to my scrambled eggs going forward. The pancakes were fluffy and crispy on the edges. Such a great spot and the prices are so reasonable for the quality of food you enjoy.

When it was all said and done, I can say the food is okay, but the service and ambiance is what makes for a fun visit. I ordered a fried chicken with a waffle and it was fair. The chicken was moist and had a good fry, but the waffle was very sweet and possibly undercooked. The fruit it was served with was not fresh either. Sitting on a pillow and the bubbly yet pretty bartender was a nice touch. I also liked the eclectic music. Unfortunately none of it stayed down, so as a result I am knocking the rating a little. The French-American cuisine is apparent here, but feels so out of character for the neighborhood. While fun, I likely will not return.

I’ve gotten delivery from here a couple times and the food was always good so I decided to dine in for brunch.Ordered the Zaca Platter which had a little bit of everything: eggs, grits with cheese, bacon, toast, and fresh greens. Portion size was generous and filling. I really enjoyed the fresh green sauce that came on top of the grits! It had a nice acidity and freshness that balanced out the richness of the grits. The woman taking the orders was also running food, bussing tables, and seating guests, yet service remained quick and efficient throughout the afternoon rush. Atmosphere was comfortable and laid back.Only drawback was that there is a charge for re-fills on drip coffee but overall a solid experience.

Delicious omelette, seasoned potatoes with peppers.. a lemonade that was delicious but maybe a little too sweet (just dilute with water). Service was sweet but i would probably eat inside if theres a next time. Was pestered for almost half my meal by one of the homeless men .. a manager sitting outside ended up offering him a meal to get him to stop engaging me cuz he really wouldnt stop after my firm 'no's'.
