Amazing Space ! Ground floor and Rooftop are Awesome. Unfortunately everytime we go, they are closed or closing. Regardless of the website postings. Haven't had a drink or a meal there yet.. They never showed up for an appointment that we scheduled to discuss potentially hosting my wedding there. They were technically 'open' at the time. We took our own tour cause the doors were open and all the lights and tvs were on. Unfortunately there was No one working. No waiters, no bartenders, no manager, No staff at all. Except one guy in the kitchen that was doing inventory. We have been trying to set up a another meeting, but they keep leaving us on read. I guess they hate money.

We came here on a Sunday at 9:00pm just to be told that they’re closed due to a private party. I DM’d them on instagram, called them, submitted a request on their website for reservations and received no response. I checked their website and instagram for updates if they’re closed but nothing was posted so it was safe to assume they’re open. I checked their website and Google to confirm their business hours which in turn proved they were open. It’s disappointing for a business to be unclear if their business will be a closed. Perhaps have a staff that can answer phones or DMs. It would save people a lot of time and effort. Needless to say, we will not be visiting Zula at any time although it was on my list of hookah lounges/restaurants to visit. What a shame as we are avid hookah smokers and enjoy a date night quite often.

What an unforgettable experience! This Mediterranean restaurant is unlike any other. Not only is the food absolutely incredible—with fresh, authentic flavors in every dish—but the setting takes it to a whole new level.
The 5,000-seat theater is such a unique addition! We caught a live performance after dinner, and it made the evening so much more special. The atmosphere was electric, and the seating was comfortable with great views of the stage from every angle. It’s an amazing place to catch a show and dine in one night.
Afterward, we headed up to the large rooftop hookah lounge, which overlooks the stunning Coney Island beach. The view of the ocean at sunset was breathtaking, and the hookah selection was top-tier. The vibe up there is super chill—great music, comfy seating, and a perfect way to unwind while soaking in the ocean breeze.
This place has it all: incredible Mediterranean food, world-class entertainment, and a rooftop hangout with one of the best beach views in NYC. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a one-of-a-kind dining and entertainment experience!

This place is a scammer. Food was all salty. When the bill came for three people , they added "suggested 20% gratuity" right BEFORE the subtotal and THEN taxed after. How do you put a tip BEFORE the subtotal. I should be able to tip after if I wanted. When we paid with credit card, they came back with the receipt showing a credit card fee in which we were never informed about prior. If you go (even though I would refrain from it) check your bill carefully. Never going back.
We literally asked the waiter what would you recommend food wise. He said "nothing" We thought it was a joke but he definitely wasn't joking.

I rarely write reviews, but my experience here was truly disappointing. From the moment we walked in, the staff was unfriendly and arrogant, making us feel unwelcome. The service was incredibly slow, with long waits for everything from getting seated to receiving our food. Overall, the combination of bad service and rude staff made this one of the worst dining experiences I've had. I won't be returning and can't recommend this place to anyone.

Literally EVERYTHING is amazing here. The place , the food and even the service . It is number one restaurant to me ❤️ First of all, they are so so generous. The amount of food in the platters is so sufficient. Second, the food taste so good, I am originally from the middle east and I can guarantee to you the taste 100%. Finally, the service ? all of them are so kind , and highly responsive to any order. I cannot thank you enough for such a place ❤️ best of luck

The food at this place is good, however customer service is horrendous. The servers are rude! We asked for a family platter for 3 people the waiter didnt tell us that they didnt have the family platter any longer from previous menu and instead gave us 3 huge mixed platters on ONE platter. In any case, when we saw it, we realized it was A LOT of food but still didn’t realize what he did until we got the bill.
Oh and if this was THREE MIXED GRILL PLATTERS - why was there only TWO RICE SERVED????

The cooks also scam you basically!!!!!!!! When we questioned him, he said (u said family platter but we dont have family platter, so I did three mixed grilled platters. He refused to listen or understand that he was wrong and that he should’ve explained that before. Be cautious at this place, make sure you ask about what you’re ordering. Also, we asked him after we ate are we able to have our tea/coffee upstairs at the rooftop. We were told yes - so of course we paid for our food and went upstairs to enjoy some rooftop views and order some beverages. We were then told upstairs that its only alcohol upstairs and that e have t go back down for any nonalcoholic beverages. I mentioned to the lady that we were told this and thats why we didnt have it downstairs after our meal but she also didnt care. I understand rules are rules, and that its not her fault bc she cant just serve what she wants to us upon any customer request. However I do blame the staff downstairs that gave us wrong information.
Oh and yes, tip is added to your bill regardless of what the waiter deserves- so again…. Be cautious!
