Moved to Buffalo in 1977 to go to grad school @ UB. Needless to say, I've enjoyed a few wings over the years. These may be the best wings I've ever had. After you take your out of town guests to the Anchor Bar to see where wings were first served, take them here for the BEST WINGS IN BUFFALO!

Best wings I have had in my life!!! The homemade blue cheese was to die for, the service was perfect, and the hometown tavern look & feel made a great atmosphere.

The front of this bar / restaurant is an old historic local pub. It’s very small and cosy but perfect for a neighborhood tavern. The back is a small restaurant with amazing food and great service. I will 1000% come back here.

Friends came in from the capital district area to experience what this great city of Buffalo has to showcase for chicken wings. Went to six places back to back to back etc… in one day. The atmosphere is great. The staff was amazing. This is the epitome of a S Buffalo Irish bar. Again ordered 10 medium wings. Of the tour these were the closest thing to your “traditional” Buffalo wing. They were very good. Cooked very well. Some crisp but very tender juicy. The blue cheese was little too chunky for my liking but had great bold flavor. I would highly recommend going here. Especially if you’re gonna catch a Sabres game. Nice and close to the arena.

Old school local Bar. These are hands down the best buffalo wings I have ever had. Huge wings! Cooked to a crispy perfection with fantastic sauce. The bluecheese is made in house and is also the best I have ever had. We will be back!

Been here a few times and all was good. Stopped a few days ago and left without getting our food after waiting 90 minutes from the time we ordered. We understand that when it's busy your wait time is longer but 90 minutes? An hour and a half? And the server had to be waved down to get a drink and not once in that entire time did she stop and simply let us know we weren't forgotten. Gonna be tough to go back?

Top 5 places in Buffalo and surrounding suburbs to get wings and prices are better by a couple dollars recommend the homemade blue cheese I usually get one homemade and one traditional.

Amazing!! Probably hands down the best wings my wife and I have ever had. She loved the house made blue cheese. The French fries were excellent. Whatever they tossed them in it was delicious. Highly highly rate this place. If you are visiting you must GO!

I had loaded potato soup. Excellent. Also had crab cake BLT. Best crab cake I've ever had. Fries were so good. I highly recommend Adolfs.
