What has happened to their bread? We have been buying it for years. The last few loaves are just horrible! Impossible to make a sandwich. Check out the pictures. This loaf was purchased on March 27th. Date on bread is April 4, so it is not old!

I wrote a review months ago. While Al Cohen's bread is a staple in our house, again they stopped double bagging. Now once again I stopped buying it. It does now have that fresh baked taste when it isn't double bagged. So I guess I will have to find a new bread for my family. This makes me sad as it was our favorite bread and I also loved the fact it was local. Ialways took loaves to my friends out of state. Please, please go back to double bagging.

They have nothing for sale. It's just a factory selling wholesale. This place is not for the public

Stopped in to apply for a job and had a terrific conversation with one of the managers which allowed me to learn allot about my neighborhoods history as well as that if the business.

A staple of the neighborhood. Makes me happy to know they are still there! Best rye anywhere around!

Great quality bread with fantastic dense, meaty texture. As someone with a peanut and tree nut allergy, I also appreciate that they don’t contaminate the production line with nuts so I am able to enjoy their products. Their sourdough is my favorite.

Buffalo's Best Bakery since 1888... is no joke! Best bread and rolls I've ever tasted! I wish I could find their items in Market 32 or other grocery stores in the Capital District area!
